PHILIP W. BENNETT, PhD [email protected] - [email protected]

Philip Bennett venne a conoscenza per la prima volta del lavoro di Reich nei primi anni

sessanta durante il periodo universitario. In quel periodo si sottopose a terapia con un

terapista orgonico formato dallo stesso Reich. Il suo interesse in Reich si ravvivò nel

2004, e da allora ha effettuato presentazioni su argomenti relativi al lavoro di Reich ad

Orgonon, la sede del laboratorio di Reich nelle vicinanze di Rangeley, nel Maine, New

York, Città del Messico (alla National Autonomous University of Mexico), Oslo, Vienna e

Berlino. Ha pubblicato numerosi articoli su giornali accademici sugli aspetti della vita di

Reich. Il suo principale interesse è focalizzato sul pensiero e le attività sociali e politiche

di Reich. Attualmente sta lavorando ad un libro intitolato From Communism to Work-

Democracy: the Development of Wilhelm Reich’s Social and Political Thought.

Hugh Brenner ha lavorato come infermiere psichiatrico professionista certificato per oltre

30 anni. Ha ottenuto le sue lauree presso la University of Pennsylvania e la Rutger’s

University. Si occupa di orgonomia da moltissimo tempo e si è sottoposto a terapia

orgonica con numerosi orgonomisti tra i quali i dottor Fiora Raggi e Morton Herskowitz.

Brenner è stato un terapista orgonico psichiatrico per oltre 10 anni. E’ attualmente

Presidente dell’Institute of Orgonomic Science. E’ inoltre membro dell’American

Psychiatric Nurses Association e della U.S. Association for Body Oriented Psychotherapy.

James DeMeo, PhD, ha studiato scienze della terra, dell’atmosfera e dell’ambiente presso

la Florida International University e la University of Kansas, dove ha conseguito il

dottorato di ricerca nel 1986. Alla KU, ha svolto ricerca scientifica naturale, incentrata

nello specifico sulle controverse scoperte di Wilhelm Reich, sottoponendo tali idee a

rigorose sperimentazioni e ottenendo una convalida dei risultati originali. In seguito

DeMeo ha intrapreso la ricerca sul campo nell’arido sud-ovest degli Stati Uniti e, nel

continente africano, in Egitto, Israele, nell’Eritrea sub-sahariana e in Namibia. Il suo

lavoro sulla questione Saharasia è fino ad oggi il più ambizioso studio globale di ricerca

cross-culturale sui temi del comportamento umano, della famiglia e della vita sessuale in

tutto il mondo. Le sue pubblicazioni includono decine di articoli e compendi e diversi

libri, tra i quali Saharasia, The Orgone Accumulator Handbook e In Defence of Wilhelm

Reich. È stato editore di On Wilhelm Reich and Orgonomy e Heretic’s Notebook, editore

della rivista Pulse of the Planet, e co-editore per il compendio in lingua tedesca Nach

Reich: Neue Forschung zur Orgonomie. DeMeo ha lavorato alla facoltà di Geografia

presso la University of Kansas, l’Illinois State University, la University of Miami e la

University of Northern Iowa. È membro delle seguenti associazioni: American

Meteorological Association, Society for Scientific Exploration, Arid Lands Society,

Natural Philosophy Alliance, Sigma Xi, International Society for the Comparative Study of

MORTON HERSKOWITZ, MD Il dottor Morton Herskowitz vive a Philadelphia, USA. E’ un osteopata ed esercita la

Terapia Orgonica sviluppata da Wilhelm Reich. Fu l’ultimo terapista formato

personalmente da Wilhelm Reich. E’ stato Presidente dell’Institute for Orgonomic Science

ed è autore del libro Emotional Armoring – an introduction to psychiatric Orgone therapy.

CONNY HUTHSTEINER, MD La dottoressa Conny Huthsteiner venne a conoscenza del lavoro di Reich durante un

seminario teatrale nel quale partecipò come cantante. Ha dedicato molti anni a studiare e

praticare l’orgonomia come psichiatra, svolgendo ricerche sia in Europa che in Brasile. Ha

ottenuto la sua laurea di primo grado presso la Yale, al UCLA Film Graduate School, ed

ha completato i suoi studi in medicina presso la University of Munich, in Germania. Si è

specializzata in psichiatria alla Mayo Clinic e alla Boston University, ed è stata per molti

anni nello staff del Dipartimento di Psichiatria del Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

e della Harvard Medical School. E’ stata Presidente, Segretario e Tesoriere dell’Institute

for Orgonomic Science, ed ha tenuto conferenze e scritto numerosi articoli su vari

argomenti di Orgonomia. Svolge attività privata a Los Angeles dove utilizza un ampia

gamma di strumenti terapeutici, inclusa la terapia orgonica.

WENDY KOHLI, PhD [email protected]

Wendy Kohli è attualmente professore al Department of Educational Studies alla

Graduate School of Education della Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT USA, dove insegna

fondamenta filosofiche e sociali dell’educazione.

Prima di accedere alla Fairfield University nel 2002, Kohli diresse il Master nel Teaching

Program presso The New School for Social Research di New York, insegnò nel

programma di dottorato del Curriculum Theory alla LSU a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, e in

precedenza ebbe un incarico permanente presso la SUNY Binghamton, nello Stato di New

York. Ottenne il suo PhD alla Syracuse University presso la Cultural Foundations of

Education, con una tesi su Toward Critical Hermeneutic Competence: Empowerment for

Teachers.

I maggiori interessi di Wendy sono focalizzati sulla teoria critica, sul femminismo, e sulla

pedagogia critica. Il suo lavoro è noto sia negli Usa che internazionalmente e ha tenuto

Conferenze a Città del Messico, Messico; Johannesburg, Sud Africa; Londra, Inghilterra;

Budapest, Ungheria; San Pietroburgo e Mosca, Russia; Gagra, Georgia; Varna, Bulgaria;

oltre che in Canada e USA.

Ha pubblicato numerosi articoli sia su riviste nazionali che internazionali tra le quali

Educational Theory, Studies in Philosophy and Education, e International Journal of

Qualitative Studies in Education.

Nel 2012 il suo libro, Feminisms and Educational Research, è stato pubblicato da

Rowman & Littlefield nella loro collana riguardante la Philosophy, Theory and

Educational Research. Wendy è stata anche Editore, oltre a contribuire alla stesura, di un

volume pubblicato da Routledge, dal titolo Critical Conversations in the Philosophy of

Education (1995).

Kohli è un esponente attivo in numerose associazioni professionali. E’ stata Presidente

della American Educational Studies Association (AESA) e della Middle Atlantic States

Philosophy of Education Society (MASPES); è stata nel Comitato Esecutivo della New

England Philosophy of Education Society (NEPES); nel Consiglio di Amministrazione

Ho letto per la prima volta La Funzione dell’Orgasmo 50 anni fa e da allora sono stato uno

studente di orgonomia molto attivo. Mi sono sottoposto per un anno a terapia orgonica con

Ola Raknes, e considero quella esperienza molto formativa. Sono stato sempre interessato

al lavoro di prevenzione di Reich con i neonati e mi sono formato come ostetrico

focalizzandomi sulla terapia orgonica durante il parto. Mi interesso di studi di microscopia

orgonomica dal 1997 ed ho da poco pubblicato un libro su una delle mie aree di ricerca,

Artificers of Fraud. Ho scritto anche molti libretti su vari aspetti dell’orgonomia e ho fatto

molte presentazioni a conferenze di orgonomia. Attualmente sono in pensione e sto

lavorando a tempo pieno sull’orgonomia.

Tina Lindemann è nata (1972) e cresciuta a Berlino, in Germania, dove ha concluso i suoi

studi in Medicina nel 2001 presso la Freie Universität Berlin. Grazie all’interesse di suo

padre per Reich, fece le sue prime esperienze con l’accumulatore orgonico quando era

ancora una bambina e ne rimase molto impressionata. Questo la portò a sottoporsi a

Terapia Orgonica con il dottor Heiko Lassek, che effettuava in parallelo ai suoi studi in

Medicina. In seguito prestò assistenza ai suoi gruppi di formazione sia a Berlino che a

Vienna. Lindemann partecipò a Berlino, durante i quattro anni di terapia, a workshop

tenuti da Myron Sharaf, Richard Blasband e Björn Blumenthal. Cominciò ad occuparsi di

malati dal 1999. Dopo aver concluso i suoi studi in Medicina iniziò la sua attività di

medico lavorando nel settore della chirurgia e della ortopedia, ma ben presto divenne

frustrata dal modo con cui i pazienti ed i medici venivano considerati dal sistema. Questo

fatto la spinse ad intraprendere l’attività privata di Orgonoterapista. Inoltre essa frequentò

corsi di Agopuntura/TCM e Reconnective Healing.

Si spostò nel 2006 a Vienna, Austria, e da allora conduce l’attività privata di

Orgonoterapista a tempo pieno tenendo, occasionalmente, workshop, costruendo coperte

orgoniche per i pazienti e consigliando le persone sull’uso dell’accumulatore orgonico.

Spesso presta gli accumulatori a pazienti che non se lo possono permettere. Attualmente

sta pianificando un corso di formazione.

Roberto Maglione ha lavorato sia nel settore della ricerca petrolifera che nel settore

biomedicale. E’ stato Visiting Professor al Politecnico di Torino nel periodo 1999-2001.

E’ autore di due testi scientifici sulla reologia ed idraulica dei fluidi di perforazione (1998

e 1999) e di oltre 90 articoli tecnici.

Maglione ha cominciato a studiare le teorie di Reich e fare ricerca in orgonomia nei primi

anni 90. Ha pubblicato i seguenti libri Wilhelm Reich e la modificazione del clima (2004),

e The healing of atmospheres (2007); con Nicola Glielmi Argomenti Reichiani (2007),

Wilhelm Reich (2009), La distruttività post-encefalitica ed il farabuttismo dialettico nelle

strategie di comunicazione (2009), e L’arca di Mosè e l’accumulatore di Reich. Una

identità oltre i confini del tempo (2010); e con Alberto Mazzocchi Biofisica e medicina

orgonica (2013). Maglione ha inoltre contribuito alla stesura del libro edito da DeMarchi e

Valenzi Wilhelm Reich. Una straordinaria avventura scientifica e umana (2007).

Maglione è laureato in Ingegneria Mineraria presso il Politecnico di Torino, ed è membro

di numerose associazioni scientifiche.

RENATA REICH MOISE, MSN, CNM [email protected]

Sono nata nel 1960, e sono l’unica figlia della dottoressa Eva Reich (figlia di Wilhelm

Reich) e del pittore William Moise. La mia conoscenza del lavoro di Wilhelm Reich

proviene da una vita di apprendimenti dai miei genitori, che furono i suoi più vicini

collaboratori per molti anni, così come una vita passata a leggere i suoi libri e riviste. Sono

stata vicino a mio padre sulla piattaforma del nostro Cloudbuster situato in giardino, ad

osservare il flusso di Orgone sulla cima della collina, a percepire il variare del vento, ed a

manovrare le larghe ruote circolari per scandagliare il cielo. Mi sono sottoposta a Terapia

Orgonica con mia madre fin dalla adolescenza; vivevamo in campagna e non c’erano altri

terapisti nelle vicinanze. Dopo qualche anno mi sottoposi saltuariamente a terapia

corporea con uno dei suoi studenti. Sono cresciuta usando l’Accumulatore orgonico per la

cura delle lesioni. I miei desideri originali erano quelli di dipingere, e continuo a pensare a

me stessa come una pittrice che fa anche l’ostetrica.

Mio padre morì improvvisamente nel 1980 all’età di 58 anni. Nel giro di un anno

cominciai i corsi per diventare una infermiera certificata, che negli USA è il primo passo

per diventare una ostetrica. Il mio primo matrimonio finì nel 1986, con un bambino che

mantenevo lavorando come infermiera. Nel 1993 cominciai i corsi di specializzazione

a Philadelphia presso la University of Pennsylvania per diventare una infermiera ostetrica

certificata, che conclusi nel 1994. Da allora ho lavorato nella stessa area dove sono

cresciuta, sulle coste del Maine, assistendo le donne in tutte le fasi della loro vita; in

particolare nel controllo delle nascite, nella assistenza durante la gravidanza ed il parto, e

nelle cure per il proprio benessere. Qui nel Maine, i CNM sono professionisti privati che

possono prescrivere medicine come fa un medico. Attualmente possiamo lavorare anche

in ospedali locali dove sono impiegata, con altre quattro CNM (al Maine Coast Memorial

Hospital presso Ellsworth, Maine, USA). La nostra attività di levatrici e di due ostetriche è

chiamata Maine Coast Women Care.

Vivo ad Hancock con mio marito, che è un sassofonista e guida kayak, Antonio Blasi; mio

figlio (che ora vive nella casa di mia madre Eva), è Chris Ross, un cantautore. Trovo che il

mio umore migliora dipingendo, ballando, facendo canottaggio, escursionismo e

giardinaggio, usando la nostra coperta Orgonica, baciando Antonio, e nuotando nei

laghi.

PETER ROBBINS, BFA Peter Robbins venne a conoscenza per la prima volta dei libri di Wilhelm Reich quando

era ancora un adolescente grazie ad un compagno di stanza del collegio. Nel 1976 incontrò

il dottor Elsworth F. Baker, che fu assistente di Reich negli ultimi undici anni della sua

vita. Ben presto egli divenne un paziente di Baker e portò avanti la terapia medica

orgonica con l’illustre orgonomista per quasi sette anni.

Robbins in seguito si iscrisse a corsi, tenuti presso la New York University, nei quali

veniva insegnata dai professori John Bell e Paul Matthews, entrambi studenti di Reich,

l’orgonomia sociale e scientifica. Più tardi fu invitato a diventare un membro dei loro

seminari di Orgonomia Scientifica e Sociale, che erano strutturati sulla base dei seminari

che Sigmund Freud presiedeva negli anni ’20. Peter passò molto tempo negli anni ’80 con

questo gruppo, presentando una varietà di articoli ai suoi colleghi membri del seminario

sotto la guida e la conduzione di Matthews e Bell.

Peter fu un organizzatore volontario della campagna di raccolta fondi Building Fund per

l’American College of Orgonomy (ACO), e due suoi articoli su Wilhelm Reich e gli UFO

furono pubblicati sul Journal of Orgonomy. Egli fece inoltre parte di un gruppo

selezionato di volontari invitati a testimoniare ad una dimostrazione sul funzionamento del

cloudbuster e fu invitato a parlare su Reich e gli UFO nella sede dell’ACO a Princeton, nel

New Jersey. E’ inoltre orgoglioso di aver presentato articoli a conferenze internazionali

sulla vita ed il lavoro di Reich a New York, ad Ashland in Oregon, Nizza in Francia e

Karavomilos in Grecia.

Le presentazioni di Robbins sono inoltre state ben accolte a numerose conferenze

scientifiche e sugli UFO in America, Canada, Inghilterra, Francia e Giappone. I suoi

articoli, commentari e rubriche sono stati pubblicati in una varietà di pubblicazioni sia su

carta stampata che in rete, e il suo articolo di ricerca approfondita Politics, Religion and

Human Nature: Practical Problems and Roadblocks on the Path Toward Official UFO

Acknowledgement è apparso di recente sulla rivista Annals of the Institute for Orgonomic

Science.

STEPHEN SIMONIAN, MD Simonian è specializzato in psichiatria per bambini ed adolescenti. Ha completato i suoi

studi medici alla Shiraz University, a Shiraz in Iran. Ha ottenuto la specializzazione in

psichiatria generale per bambini ed adolescenti presso il New York Medical College,

Metropolitan Hospital Center.

Parallelamente alla sua formazione psichiatrica, il dottor Simonian ha completato i corsi

didattici, inclusa la necessaria psicoanalisi personale, presso la New York Medical College

Psychoanalitic School.

Nel 1990 il dottor Simonian cominciò la terapia psichiatrica orgonica con il dottor Morton

Herskowitz e nel 1991 divenne un membro dell’Institute of Orgonomic Science (IOS), un

Istituto che è dedicato a promuovere e salvaguardare il lavoro del dottor Wilhelm Reich.

Il dottor Simonian iniziò la sua attività privata di psichiatra a Milford, Massachusetts nel

1984 e fu inoltre responsabile per numerosi anni del dipartimento di psichiatria del

Milford Region Hospital.

Inoltre dal 2003 cominciò la sua attività a Glendale in California. Il dottor Simonian fa

parte dell’American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Sono nato a Civitanova Marche il 30 novembre 1953. Abito a Corridonia, sono sposato ed

ho due figli. Mi sono laureato in Biologia nel 1977 con 107/110 presso l’Università degli

Studi di Camerino presentando una tesi in Microbiologia.

Lavoro in campo orgonomico dal 1974 quando sin dai primi anni di università venni a

conoscenza delle ricerche svolte dal dottor W. Reich. In quel tempo ho anche frequentato

importanti percorsi vegeto terapeutici reichiani. Da diversi anni svolgo una vera e propria

ricerca in campo oncologico ripetendo gli esperimenti eseguiti dal dottor W. Reich. I

Le finalità dell'Associazione italiana di Orgonomia, nata nel Novembre del 2012, possono

essere sintetizzate nei seguenti punti:

- programmazione di conferenze internazionali, workshop e seminari di Orgonomia da tenersi

periodicamente dove verrà presentato il più aggiornato stato dell’arte dell'Orgonomia di

Wilhelm Reich in tutti i suoi vari aspetti.

- l’istituzione di un centro per lo studio, l’implementazione e l’applicazione delle tematiche

inerenti la cura delle malattie (inclusa la biopatia cancerosa) secondo i principi dell'orgono-

terapia psichiatrica e biofisica.

- l’istituzione di un centro per lo studio, l’implementazione e l’applicazione delle tematiche

inerenti il recupero delle naturali funzioni della pulsazione atmosferica (cloudbusting).

PHILIP W. BENNETT, PhD [email protected] - [email protected]

Philip Bennett was first introduced to Reich’s work as a university student in the early

sixties. At that time he underwent therapy with an orgone therapist trained by Reich

himself. His interest in Reich was rekindled in 2004, and since then he has spoken about

aspects of Reich’s work at Orgonon, the home of Reich’s laboratory outside of Rangeley,

Maine; in New York City, Mexico City (at the National Autonomous University of

Mexico), Oslo, Vienna and Berlin. He has published a number of articles in peer-review

academic journals on aspects of Reich’s life. His main focus is on Reich’s social and

political thought and activities, and he is currently working on a book entitled, From

Communism to Work-Democracy: the Development of Wilhelm Reich’s Social and

Political Thought.

Hugh Brenner has worked in psychiatric nursing for over 30 years and has Graduate

degrees from The University of Pennsylvania and Rutger's University. He is a licensed

and board certified Psychiatric Family Nurse Practitioner. A life-long student of

orgonomy, Mr Brenner has had orgone therapy with several orgonomists including Dr.

Fiora Raggi and Dr. Morton Herskowitz. Mr. Brenner has been a practitioner of

Psychiatric Orgone Therapy for over 10 years. He is the current president of the Institute

of Orgonomic Science. He is also a member of the U.S. Association for Body Oriented

Psychotherapy.

James DeMeo, PhD, formally studied the Earth, Atmospheric, and Environmental

Sciences at Florida International University and the University of Kansas, where he earned

his PhD in 1986. At KU, he openly undertook the graduate-level natural scientific research

specifically focused upon Wilhelm Reich's controversial discoveries, subjecting those

ideas to rigorous testing, with positive verification of the original findings. DeMeo

subsequently undertook field research in the arid American Southwest, Egypt, Israel, sub-

Saharan Eritrea, and Namibia, Africa. His work on the Saharasia question constituted the

most ambitious global cross-cultural research study to date, on the subjects of human

behavior, family and sexual life around the world. His published works include dozens of

articles and compendiums, and several books, including Saharasia, The Orgone

Accumulator Handbook, and In Defense of Wilhelm Reich. He was editor of On Wilhelm

Reich and Orgonomy and Heretic's Notebook, editor of the journal Pulse of the Planet,

and co-editor for the German-language compendium Nach Reich: Neue Forschung zur

Orgonomie. DeMeo served on the faculty of Geography at the University of Kansas,

Illinois State University, University of Miami and University of Northern Iowa. He is a

member of the American Meteorological Association, Society for Scientific Exploration,

Arid Lands Society, Natural Philosophy Alliance, Sigma Xi, International Society for the

Comparative Study of Civilizations, and the AAAS, and a former Research Associate of the

American College of Orgonomy. He is Director of the Orgone Biophysical Research Lab,

which he founded in 1978. In 1994 DeMeo established the Greenspring Center, a high-

altitude research facility in the Siskiyou Mountains near to Ashland, Oregon, exhibiting

MORTON HERSKOWITZ, MD Dr. Morton Herskowitz lives in Philadelphia, USA. He is an osteopath and practices

Orgone Therapy that was developed by Wilhelm Reich. He was the last therapist trained

by Wilhelm Reich personally. He was the president of the Institute for Orgonomic Science

and is the author of the book Emotional Armoring – an introduction to psychiatric Orgone

therapy.

CONNY HUTHSTEINER, MD Conny Huthsteiner, MD, discovered Reich’s work in a theater workshop she attended as a

singer. She has dedicated many years to learning more about and practicing orgonomy as a

psychiatrist, doing research in Europe and in Brazil. She got her B.A. at Yale, was at

UCLA Film Graduate School, and completed her M.D. at University of Munich, Germany.

She trained at the Mayo Clinic and Boston University to be a board certified psychiatrist,

and taught residents as an instructor at Beth Israel Deaconess Department of Psychiatry

and Harvard Medical School. She has served as President, Secretary and Treasurer of the

Institute for Orgonomic Science, and has lectured and written on topics in Orgonomy

many times. She has a private practice in Los Angeles where she utilizes a wide range of

therapeutic tools, including orgone therapy.

WENDY KOHLI, PhD [email protected]

Wendy Kohli currently holds the rank of Professor in the Department of Educational

Studies in the Graduate School of Education at Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT USA,

where she teaches courses in the philosophical and social foundations of education.

Prior to coming to Fairfield University in 2002, Kohli directed the Masters in Teaching

Program at The New School for Social Research in New York City, taught in the

Curriculum Theory doctoral program at LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was first

tenured and promoted at SUNY Binghamton, New York State. She earned her Ph.D. at

Syracuse University in Cultural Foundations of Education, with a dissertation on Toward

Critical Hermeneutic Competence: Empowerment for Teachers.

Wendy’s scholarship has continued to focus on critical theory, feminism, and critical

pedagogy. Her work is known nationally and internationally, having presented at

conferences in Mexico City, Mexico; Johannesburg, South Africa; London, England;

Budapest, Hungary; St. Petersbug and Moscow, Russia; Gagra, Georgia; Varna, Bulgaria;

as well as Canada and the USA.

She has published widely in a range of national and international journals, including

Educational Theory, Studies in Philosophy and Education, and International Journal of

Qualitative Studies in Education.

In 2012 her book, Feminisms and Educational Research, was published by Rowman and

Littlefield in their series on Philosophy, Theory and Educational Research. And she was

the editor and contributing author for a volume published by Routledge, Critical

Conversations in the Philosophy of Education (1995).

An active leader in several professional associations, Kohli is a past president of the

American Educational Studies Association (AESA) and of the Middle Atlantic States

Philosophy of Education Society (MASPES); has served on the Executive Committee of

the New England Philosophy of Education Society (NEPES); the Board of Directors of

the John Dewey Society; the editorial boards of Educational Theory, Educational Studies,

and Studies in Philosophy and Education.

I first read The Function of the Orgasm 50 years ago and have been an active student of

orgonomy ever since. I had a year’s therapy with Ola Raknes, a great learning experience.

I have always been interested in Reich’s preventive work with babies and trained as a

midwife to research orgone therapy in childbirth. I have been active in orgonomic

microscopy since 1997 and have just published a book on one area of my research,

Artificers of Fraud. I have also written many booklets on various aspects of orgonomy and

have given many presentations at orgonomic conferences. I am now retired and working

full-time in orgonomy.

Tina Lindemann was born (1972) and raised in Berlin, Germany, and as well finished

medical school there in 2001 at Freie Universität Berlin.

Since she grew up with a father interested in Reich, she had her first contact with an

accumulator as a small child and was pretty impressed. This led to a training in Orgone

Therapy with Heiko Lassek, MD, parallel to her medical studies and to assisting in his

later training groups in Berlin and Vienna. Several other teachers, such as Myron Sharaf,

Richard Blasband and Björn Blumenthal, came for additional weekend workshops to

Berlin during the four years of training and so allowed for a wider range of experience.

She started seeing clients besides her studies in 1999.

After finishing medical school Tina Lindemann, MD worked in surgery and orthopedics,

but soon got frustrated with the way patients and employees were treated in the system,

which gave the impulse to start a freelance practice as an Orgonetherapist. Besides other

things she did trainings in Acupuncture/TCM and Reconnective Healing additionally.

Teaching in Vienna, Austria led to moving there in 2006, and since then she is a full time

freelance Orgonetherapist, occasionally giving workshops, making Orgone blankets for

clients when needed and informs people about the use of the accumulator. If possible she

lends accumulators to patients who can not afford one. A Training-course is in the

planning.

Roberto Maglione has been working both in the oil & gas exploration and cardiovascular

medical devices industries. Maglione has been Visiting Professor at the Polytechnic of

Turin in the period 1999-2001. He is the author of two scientific books, on the Rheology

and Hydraulics of Drilling Fluids (1998 and 1999) and of more than 90 technical articles.

Maglione has been studying and researching on Reich’s theories since the early 1990’s.

He wrote the following books Wilhelm Reich e la modificazione del clima (2004), and The

healing of atmospheres (2007); and co-authored with Nicola Glielmi Argomenti Reichiani

(2007), Wilhelm Reich (2009), La distruttività post-encefalitica ed il farabuttismo

dialettico nelle strategie di comunicazione (2009), and L’arca di Mosè e l’accumulatore di

Reich. Una identità oltre i confini del tempo (2010); and with Alberto Mazzocchi Biofisica

e medicina orgonica (2013). He contributed also to the book edited by DeMarchi and

Valenzi Wilhelm Reich. Una straordinaria avventura scientifica e umana (2007).

Maglione holds a MS degree in mining engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin, Italy,

and is a member of numerous scientific associations.

RENATA REICH MOISE, MSN, CNM [email protected]

Born in 1960, the only child of Eva Reich MD (daughter of Wilhelm Reich) and the

painter William Moise. My knowledge of Wilhelm Reich's work stems from a life time of

learning from my parents, who were his close assistants for many years, as well as a life

time of reading his books and journals. I stood with my father on our Cloudbuster

platform in our garden, watching the flow of Orgone across the hill top, feeling the shift of

the breeze, turning the large circular wheels to sweep the sky. I received Orgone Therapy

from my mother until adolescence; we lived in the country and no other therapists were

available. After I was older, I received body therapy as needed from one of her students. I

grew up using the Accumulator on injuries. My original urges were to be painting, and I

continue to think of myself as a painter who also happens to be a midwife.

My father died suddenly in 1980 at the age of 58. Within a year I began training to

become a Registered Nurse, which in the USA is a first step to become a midwife. My

first marriage ended in 1986, and I had a young child to support, working as a nurse. In

1993 I began training in a Masters of Nursing program in Philadelphia at the University of

Pennsylvania to become a Certified Nurse Midwife, which I finished in 1994. Since that

time I have worked in the same area where I grew up, on the coast of Maine, caring for

women in all phases of their lives; offering birth control, care for pregnancy, birth, and

well women care. Here in Maine, CNMs are independent practitioners who write

prescriptions and function very much like a doctor. We now also have admitting privileges

to the local hospital where I am a hospital employed CNM, with four other CNMs (at

Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth, Maine, USA). Our practice of Midwives

and two Obstetricians is called "Maine Coast Women Care".

I live with my husband, Saxaphonist and Seakayak guide, Antonio Blasi in Hancock; my

son (who now lives in my late mother Eva's home), is Chris Ross, a Singer/Songwriter. I

find that my own emotional health improves with painting, dancing, kayaking, hiking,

gardening, use of our Accumulator blanket, kissing Antonio, and swimming in lakes.

PETER ROBBINS, BFA Peter Robbins was first introduced to the books of Wilhelm Reich as a teenager by a

college roommate and in 1976 met Dr. Elsworth F. Baker, Reich’s first assistant for the

last eleven years of his life. Soon after he became a patient of Dr. Baker and entered into

almost seven years of medical orgone therapy with the distinguished orgonomist.

Robbins went on to enroll in the classes which New York University offered in scientific

and social orgonomy taught by Reich scholars, Professors John Bell and Paul Matthews.

They in turn invited him to become a member of their ongoing Seminar in Scientific and

Social Orgonomy, patterned after the seminars which Sigmund Freud presided over during

the nineteen twenties. Peter spent much of the nineteen eighties involved with this group,

presenting a variety of papers to his fellow seminar members under Matthews’ and Bell’s

guidance and leadership.

Peter was a volunteer fundraiser for the American College of Orgonomy’s (ACO)

Building Fund and had two papers on Wilhelm Reich and UFOs published in the Journal

of Orgonomy. He was part of a select group of volunteers invited to witness a

demonstration of the cloudbuster and was invited to speak on the subject of Reich and

UFOs at the ACO’s Princeton New Jersey facility. He is also proud to have presented

papers at international conferences on the life and work of Reich in New York City,

Ashland Oregon, Nice France and Karavomilos Greece. Robbins’ lectures have been well

received at numerous scientific and UFO related conferences in America, Canada, the

United Kingdom, France and Japan. His articles, commentaries and columns on the

subject have been published in a variety of print and web publications, and his extensively

researched paper, “Politics, Religion and Human Nature: Practical Problems and

Roadblocks on the Path Toward Official UFO Acknowledgement” appeared in the last

issue of Annals of the Institute for Orgonomic Science.

STEPHEN SIMONIAN, MD Is a general, child and adolescent psychiatrist. He completed medical school in Shiraz

University, Shiraz, Iran. He completed his general psychiatric residence training and

fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at New York Medical College, Metropolitan

Hospital Center. Concomitant with his psychiatry and child psychiatry training, Dr.

Simonian completed the New York Medical College Psychoanalytic School Didactic

Course, include his own required personal psychoanalysis.

In 1990, Dr, Simonian started his personal psychiatric orgone therapy with Dr. Morton

Herskowitz and in 1991 became a member of the Institute of Orgonomic Science (IOS),

an institute which is dedicated to promote and preserve Dr. Wilhelm Reich’s work.

Dr. Simonian started his private psychiatric practice in Milford, Massachusetts in 1984

and he was a chief of psychiatric department of Milford Region Hospital for several years.

He started his practice in Glendale, California since 2003. Dr. Simonian is a diplomate of

the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Armando Vecchietti was born in Civitanova Marche, Italy, in 1953. He is living in

Corridonia, Italy, married with two children.

He graduated in Biology at the University of Camerino, Italy, in 1977 with a thesis on

microbiology.

Vecchietti is working on Orgonomy since 1974 when he first became aware of the work of

Wilhelm Reich. At the time he also attended important reichian vegeto-therapy courses.

He is carrying out research in oncology since many years, duplicating and finding

confirmation of the results of Reich experiments. The outcomes of his researches are

reported in the following website www.cellulacancerosa.it.

The increasing interest from a part of the scientific community on Reich work and

findings led him to participate to congresses in various locations both in Italy and abroad.

Presently, Vecchietti is full-time working and researching on Orgonomy making available

his body of knowledge to those interested under the form of congress presentations,

consultancy and biological testing.

Aims of the Italian Orgonomy Association can be summarized as follows:

- planning of international conferences, workshops, and seminars, to be held periodically, where the

most up-to-date state of the art of the many branches of Wilhelm Reich’s Orgonomy will be presented

and discussed

- establishing of a centre for the study, implementation, and application of the issues related to the

treatment of diseases (including cancer biopathy) according to medical and biophysical orgone-therapy

principles

- establishing of a centre for the study, implementation, and application of the issues related to the

recovery of the natural pulsation of the atmosphere (cloudbusting)

- establishing of an eco-village where, with the help of parents, obstetricians, pedagogues, and

physicians, all with orgonomy background, children can be grown-up until to genitality

- planning of basic and advanced courses on the most relevant issues to the Association work such as:

medical and biophysical orgone-therapy, bions and Reich blood test, orgone biophysics, oranur

reaction, and cloudbusting
