BIODIESEL FOR A COOLER ATMOSPHERETokyo Yuden uses oil from restaurants and homes to produce Vegetable Diesel Fuel (VDF), which reduces CO2 by 2.62 kg per liter.

1. The use of VDF reduces the use of fossil fuels.2. The use of VDF provides full combustion so

cars reduce CO2 emissions. 3. It prevents unnecessary waste from going

into the dumpster.

students to fieldtrips uses VDF3. There are 110 collecting stations in Tokyo and the

interest in VDF is expanding.
