LEADER IN CUSTOM-MADE STANDARDS - TRY IT NOW AND SAVE !

SPECTRACER has been manufacturing custom made multi-element solutions, covering all laboratory analysis needs since1999. To avoid contamination these solutions aremanufactured under clean room conditions and accuracy isguaranteed by traceability to NIST standards. All solutions aresupplied with their own certificates of analysis indicating theconcentration of each element.

Custom-made Service

As customer requirements for combinations and theconcentrations of elements in multi-element solutions can varygreatly, 10 years ago we automated our custom-madestandards production. This enables us to produce both,"concentrates" and "ready for use" solutions according to yourspecific requirements. The benefits to the user areconsiderable not only in terms of accuracy and reliability butalso time-saved!

By using custom-made solutions tailored to your analyticalneeds, you will avoid :

‣ Errors in preparation of standards‣ Precipitationtion due to mixing incompatible solutions‣ Contamination of solutions‣ Stocking a wide range of raw materials‣ Needing high-purity water‣ Over reliance on highly skilled personel

and you will improve :

Productivity, by not having to prepare standard solutions Conservation and maintenance of source solutions Tracability Quality of blank solutions Quality of Acids Cleanliness of containers Accuracy

ASTM D664 - 07 Standard Test Method for Acid Number of Petroleum Products byPotentiometric TitrationThis test method covers procedures for the determination of acidic constituents in petroleum products and lubricants soluble or nearly soluble inmixtures of toluene and propan-2-ol. It is applicable for the determination of acids whose dissociation constants in water are larger than 10-9;extremely weak acids whose dissociation constants are smaller than 10 -9 do not interfere. Salts react if their hydrolysis constants are largerthan 10-9. The range of acid numbers included in the precision statement is 0.1 mg/g KOH to 150 mg/g KOH.
