    What to ExpectTake our school-age camp to the next level with our incoming 3rd -6th grade students. Jump into action by participating in 5 field trips each week including exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events.

    Our campers expand their horizons, embark on new adventures, and most importantly have fun. Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable!

    Our camp features a unique selection of indoor and outdoor activities and field trips that take advantage of resources in the local area. All scheduled field trips are subject to change due to weather or any other unforeseen situations. In the event that a field trip changes parents will be notified.

  • Geology RocksUncover the mysteries of our planet as we explore the earth from its core to the outer reaches of space. Multiple activities and science projects will be offered in this fun, exploratory class as we discuss key events in earth’s history while taking a close look at rocks, minerals, and fossils from around the world! AGES 8-10

    Wilderness Camp AM or PMCome join Mrs. Loewen as we explore some of the parks and forests in our area! We will be taking short field trips to go on hikes, discussing what it means to spend time in and take care of our environment, and spending some quality time in the sunshine! Please send students with their own personal backpack with snacks, a water bottle, sunscreen, and an extra change of clothes. Field trip permission slip will be required. AGES 5-11

    Bake Time 1This week long, hands-on baking camp is designed for kids! You’ll have fun and learn about the different methods used to turn out a delicious variety of home-baked goods and why each method gives different results. Baked items will include pies, cakes and bars. Allergens will be present. We ask that children with food allergies not attend this camp. AGES 5-11

    Flag FootballThrough our 'skill of the day' campers will learn skills on both sides of the ball including the core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning - all presented in a fun & positive environment. AGES 6-11

    CheerleadingSkyhawks cheerleading teaches young athletes all the essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team. Skyhawks' cheer camp will ensure that each camper will learn cheers, proper hand and body movements as well as jumping techniques. AGES 5-10

    Chemical MagicBe a chemical detective and learn to make batteries from fruits or potatoes. Make a fantastic crystal tree, write a secret message in invisible ink. Look at our prepared slides using our microscopes. Make dirty pennies clean again and do it the fantastic way. AGES 6-11

    BasketballUsing our progressional curriculum and focusing on the whole player, we teach your child the skills they need both on and off the court to be a better athlete. Our sport specific staff will focus on respect, teamwork and responsibility as they will start each day with a 'skill of the day’. AGES 6-11

    DramaCampers will learn theater basics , play theater games, learn to juggle, use improvisational skills and so much more. Step our of your comfort zone and join drama! AGES 5-11

    Animal ArchitectsLet your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO parts as we design and build leaping dolphins, buzzing beehives and towering giraffes. Play, Create and learn in a world inspired by the animal kingdom. Design and build as never before and explore your craziest ideas. AGES 5-8

    Can you dig it?Do you dig dinosaurs? Archeology and Paleontology seem like big words to kids, but fantastic workshops bring them alive. Each child will excavate a fossil and uncover the different bones of a dinosaur. We will also complete a 3-dimensional dinosaur to take home. AGES 6-11

    Baking Time 3This week long, hands-on baking camp is designed for kids! You’ll have fun and learn about the different methods used to turn out a delicious variety of home-baked goods and why each method gives different results. Baked items will include scones, cupcakes, crisps and cobblers. Allergens will be present. We ask that children with food allergies not attend this camp. AGES 5-11

    Knitting and CraftingJoin in a week long knitting and crafting camp. Students will learn the beginning of knitting and complete several craft projects including friendship bracelets, paper crafts and string art. AGES 6-11

    Hover Craft Build and defy gravity with your very own hover craft. Use your creativity to control its direction. Make your own super car powered by more than one source of energy and build a gravity car that can cushion a raw egg during our egg drop. AGES 6-11

Design your own poke balls, explore the Kanto region and fly with Charizard. Explore engineering through the fun world of Pokemon with the guidance of a play-well instructor. AGES 5-8

    Kindergarten ReadinessPRE-REQUISITE: Your child must be enrolled in Evergreen Academy’s 2019-20 academic school year to attend.Kindergarten is just around the corner and what better way to get ahead then to start with Kindergarten Readiness! Your child will be exposed to a typical Kindergarten morning routine . All the Kindergarten teachers will be present throughout the week to meet your children and get to know them on an individualized basis.

Daily challenges will bring our imagination and individuality. From beginning to end, campers will be building, thinking, sharing and building some more. Girls and Boys alike will love to show their master building skills in LEGO camp. Ages 5-11
