years and brings a passion for sharing her

knowledge and empowering you to feel as

comfortable and efficient as you can to reach

your goals in the water. A competitive swimmer

and springboard and platform diver from an

early age, Rita translated her love of the water

into every ocean recreation activity she came

across. Rita graduated from the University

of Hawaii at Manoa with a degree in education

with a specialty in aquatics and ocean recreation

and has been coaching/teaching swimming

for over forty years. Rita is also a Red Cross

instructor trainer in lifeguarding and a Water

Safety Instructor & Emergency Medical Response

officer for the State of Hawaii. Rita works with

everyone ranging from triathletes to infants

and swimmers of all levels.

of Hawai‘i at Manoa on scholarships, ranked

in the top 50 players in the country his senior

year. His coaching career spans from Punahou

High School to the Waialae Country Club and

the O’ahu Country Club. Mark and his team

at Hualalai have created an outstanding tennis

program that satisfies all levels of players.

free time outdoors doing everything from skiing,

snowboarding, hiking, camping, fishing and of

course, playing golf. His love for golf continued,

which led him to move out to Hawaii to pursue

a career in the industry. Now, after 13 years

working as a golf professional, he is the Head

Golf Professional at the Resort where his passion

is sharing the love of the game and managing

the operations at Hualalai.
