MEET OUR COACHOur coach Chris
Brownlow has level 3 accreditation and is well on his way to receiving his level 4.
Chris has coached many teams to success including our Open Boys who won the NSW State Knockout in 2007.

2005-2008 (Premiers 2008, 2006, 2005 & Runners up 2007)
South Met Softball Academy coach since 1999 inauguration
Coached Association U/16 & U/19 Boys & Girls to great success 1998-2008. Premiers 2004, 2007, Runners Up 2006.
Winners 2007 Boys Softball State Knockout @Westfields Sports High School.
TRAININGThe students in the Softball
program have the opportunity to train twice a week with Chris as a timetabled class.
Currently Juniors (7-8) train on Monday and Thursday morning
Opens (9-12) train on Monday and Thursday afternoon.
The Opens also have the opportunity to undertake weight training in a fully supervised environment once a week
Students undertake a variety of activities designed to challenge them and improve their skills levels
LEVEL 1 ANYONE????We also give all students in the Softball
program the opportunity to undertake their Level 1 in Softball, as Chris is an accredited deliverer of this certificate.
TAYLA Tayla is in Year 9 and her preferred position is shortstop. She has made lots of friends at Westfields and thinks Chris is a great coach because “...he picks up on what you do wrong and tries to fix it”
AIMEE NSWCHS (Combined High School)REP 2008Aimee is in Year 10 and has already made her mark as a NSWCHS rep in 2008. Aimee’s preferred position is 3rd base and is an “...awesome hitter” according to her teammate Jessie!
AIDAN & ASHLEAAidan is the superstar of the Westfields Softball program.He is an 3 time U/19 Australian rep and in 2008 made the Open Mens NSW team. That is an amazing achievement for a high school student! Ashlea is also a NSWCHS rep in 2008 and is only in Year 10 as well.
