The Solution
• Create a website and mobile app that interacts
with the major retailers' websites to provide a one-
stop shop for registering
• Have a barcode scanner that can be used at the
multiple retailers to provide a consolidated
registry.
• Be able to purchase the registry items from the
website or app by interacting with the retailers'
websites.
• Store the purchases and contact information for
"Thank you" cards.
• Be able to print address labels from the contact
information so hours don't have to be spent
looking up addresses.

What the Competitors are Missing
www.myregistry.com is the closest to
getting it right, however they are missing
some key features to making their site
great: a mobile app with scanner, an easy
way to make address labels, and brand
recognition. Before researching
specifically for companies that offer
registries, I had no idea who they were.
How We Will Crush the
Competition
• With proper funding we will develop a website
and mobile app that far exceeds the
competition in delivering the key essentials to
making registering easy and convenient.
• We must also make good use of advertising to
put us at the top of the list. I never knew
about these types of websites until I sought to
create one, so there’s a big window of getting
ATAP Registry to the forefront of people’s
minds.
How We Will Make Money
Just like any other web-based only business,
the primary money will be made through
advertising. With enough hits and the line of
business, our site and app will provide a
great platform for companies to advertise
their products.
Data collection will provide another avenue
for revenue. We can provide data such as
“what items are registered for the most”,
“which items are purchased the most”, etc.
