ATC-1000 vs. ATC-2000

ATC-2000 represents full compliance to the ITS ATC 5.2b standard.

We realized that certain items in the standard do not benefit many customers, only adding cost, so we removed them to make the non-compliant ATC-1000.

ATC-1000 has2 Ethernet Ports,

the ATC-2000 has 4 per the ATC

standard.

Though largely thought of as out-dated technology, the ATC

standard calls for a Data Key. This is an option on both the ATC-1000

and ATC-2000. Default “none”.

ATC-1000 uses standard 3000E style

FSK and Fiber modems. The ATC-

2000 allows for a 2070 style modem. Requires 2 more PCB’s and adds

$$$ to controller.

Key Points

• ATC 1000 and 2000 controllers are the same except for the main board has some parts included on the ATC 2000 that are omitted on the ATC 1000.

• The ATC 2000 is meant to adhere to the letter of the ATC standard. The ATC 1000 is meant to be a cost-compromise that will meet the needs of most users.

• Both use the exact same engine board and firmware.
