INAUGURAL HACKATHON:
ATHack! (pronounced “attack”) is a group of activists and technologists sourcing, funding, and launching new and innovative data-driven ideas to solve major social issues. Our inaugural hackathon is focused on developing tools and solutions that will support anti-human trafficking efforts.

The Problem• Slavery still exists. Human trafficking enslaves approximately
35.8 million people worldwide.1!!
• Human trafficking is a $32B a year industry and the fastest growing criminal industry in the world.2!!
• Reliable data remains a major challenge at the heart of anti-human trafficking efforts. Lack of data = lack of issue legitimacy, data-informed solutions, and public awareness.
