The AcropolisTake a lovely tour round the Acropolis which is also known as Parthenon.It is the remains of a Greek temple of the Goddess Athena. It located on Acropolis ; a hill overlooking the beautiful city of Athens.It is considered the finest temple that represents the Doric-style construction. . The glory of the Parthenon was the gigantic statue of Athena designed by Phidias that was made of elephant ivory and gold.It was built from 447 BC to 438 BC . It’s so ancient and beautiful !!!

All displays in the museum are displayed in front of a red background to remind us that in ancient temples and Greek homes they were never bleached white.

Until now some items , especially Kouroi , are still unpublished. The items are not allowed to be touched in the museum neither can you take photos of the items on display.

In the National Archaeological Museum , ancient Greece artwork and crafts , statues , hand made items , weapons , clothes , jewels and unique ancient Greek items.
