The 2017 year was a monumental year in the history of UAB Athletics and marks a new era in our forty years of existence. The overarching mission for UAB Athletics in 2018 is to be the best program in Conference USA and grow our already strong national brand. The mission of Blazer Boosters and its members is to provide the highest level of financial support possible to the UAB Department of Athletics. Memberships aid in providing our student-athletes with an elite experience by helping fund student-athlete scholarships, capital projects, facility improvements, and the enhancement of sport-specific operating budgets.

There is strength in numbers, and building a championship culture continues with a strong commitment from our alumni, friends, and corporate supporters. Continuing to improve upon our foundation of support is vital to the growth and future success of our student-athletes, coaches and the UAB Athletic program.

The Blazer Club Scholarship Fund includes all philanthropic, football and men’s basketball per-seat memberships used to supplement the cost of scholarships provided by UAB Athletics. As the cost of attendance continues to grow, your support to the Blazer Club Scholarship Fund is critical.

Priority seating requires an annual Blazer Club membership in order to purchase season tickets. The seating chart below represents the minimum membership required at Legion Field for each section in addition to the cost of season tickets.

Priority seating requires an annual Blazer Club membership in order to purchase season tickets. Donors to sport gift accounts contribute to the enhancement of a specific programs operating budget. Donors are not eligible for benefits such as priority seating or parking as outlined in pages 13-16. However, sport specific donors are eligible for nontangible benefits outlined by the sport in which their restricted contribution is made.

The B Club is the official organization within UAB Athletics that recognizes and coordinates former letter winners of all sports to keep them connected to UAB. Through B Club events, members reconnect with teammates to help promote and serve the UAB Department of Athletics. Membership for the B Club is a minimum of $100 annual donation with 50% of the membership dues going to the sport gift account of the donor’s choice.

Belles & Whistles was formed in 2008 with the goal of providing UAB’s female student-athletes with the greatest opportunity for success in academics and athletics by creating a network of those who will help raise funds to enhance the student-athlete experience. Events are held throughout the year to show support for UAB women’s programs with the goal of raising funds for female student-athlete scholarships and special projects as designated by the Director of Athletics.

Capital improvement gifts are tax-deductible. Naming opportunities and associated benefits are based on the individual project. Pledges to a capital project can be fulfilled over a multi-year period.
