Two guest speakers will share their local, hands-on experiences of planning and designing tiny houses.

Koho Director Adam Bennett-Smith specialises in award-winning innovative compact housing solutions. Koho reinvents housing design to deliver connected and affordable lifestyles and has examples in the Tweed and Byron Shires. Adam will cover tiny house design and explore new entry-level pathways to home ownership, such as ‘rent to buy’ and ‘shared equity’ home ownership.

Cabin Life Business Manager Keith Fletcher specialises in creative eco-friendly spaces for everyday living and provides cabin kits suitable for granny flats, resort bungalows, studios, offices and custom cabins at affordable prices. Keith will also provide real-life examples and consider the benefits and challenges of building your own cabin.
