Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

Hard to believe this Eagle year has come to an end.

I would like to thank the Ladies Auxiliary for

allowing me to represent them and lead them the

past two years. It has truly been an honor for me. I

am looking forward to the next year serving as your

JR Past Madam President.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the Auxiliary sisters

(and Aerie members) who have volunteered as

chairman for all of our charities, events,

committees, and for Bingo. And an even bigger

THANK YOU to all of our members that support our

charities. Without that support for our charities,

we would just be another bar.

Thank you to all who attended this year’s

Anniversary Celebration! The food and

entertainment were incredible. Due to the very

generous donation of chicken from Mary Sinclair

and Pam Nagel, the expenses for this celebration

were minimal. Therefore we will be adding a little

over $1000.00 to the Aerie General Fund. THANK

YOU to all who purchased the raffle tickets for the

Jimmy Buffet concert tickets and participated in the

GA Lottery scratch off ticket raffles!

Please continue to keep all of our brothers, sisters,

families, military and especially our country in your

prayers.

Each time a member makes a purchase of dinner or drinks they are given a ticket to fill in their name, address and

phone number to be placed in a box marked “I support my Aerie Drawing”. Customers are given only one ticket each

night. Winners are determined by a drawing held on Saturday night at 11:00 pm. If your name is drawn and you are

present at the time of the drawing you win $50.00 in Eagle Buck’s. If you are not present at the time of the drawing

EAGLES - Two years ago we became a participant in the Kroger's

Reward Program. With our charity being the VA Services. This is where

we buy supplies twice a year to help the VA Hospital snack division.

We had 10 families signed up we now have 6. I am sure we have more

than 6 families that shop at Kroger's and after you sign up all you have

to do is shop. Have your non Eagle friends and neighbors sign up to

help our cause. The more we spend shopping the larger our checks

are. We receive our checks quarterly. The instructions sheets on how

to sign up are on the bulletin board next to the kitchen.

This is your final reminder to make your motel reservations for the

Georgia State FOE Convention in Richmond Hill on June 10-11-12 at

the Richmond Hill Quality Inn, phone number 912-756-3351. The

rate is $74.00 per night (plus tax =

$89.36) but this rate is good only until this Friday May 27 so get

her done. I made the mistake of staying at that exit a few weeks

back without a reservation...Quality Inn was booked so I went to

Comfort Inn...$189.00 per night, but you got 24 hour
