PROJECT HIGHLIGHT

Banyan Street Capital- Preventive Maintenance Project Desiring to prolong the life of 100,700 sq ft of their 17± year old ballasted EDPM roofs, Banyan Street turned to the experience and expertise of Apollo Roofing. Other roofers might have fixed a leak, or claimed that a new roof was definitely needed. Apollo realizes that effective remedial repairs can prolong the life of an older roof system and give the property owners time to build a reroofing project into their budgets. A thorough Apollo Roof Inspection found many problem areas: gaps in concrete wall, open laps in EDPM, and flashing & sealant failures. By moving ballast away from problem areas, thoroughly inspecting, cleaning and repairing issues, these roofs should last another 4-6 years.

Many EPDM Vent boots needed to have clamp bands replaced, old sealant removed & areas cleaned to apply proper adhesive/flashing.

Issues with the roof drains were causing problems. Old drain flashing was removed, area cleaned, proper EDPM base flashing installed and tied into existing roof system.
