heart of our service department. A machine that is down for repairs is not able to make you money. Our highly trained service department understands this completely and dispatches factory trained technicians to ensure that your equipment is put back into productive service fast.

Our technician comes to you in one of our Atlantic Lift vans equipped with tools and resources needed to be effective in the field to get your unit up and running.

In the event that the work required is complex, we have a state of the art shop. Our shop can be used for those jobs that require cranes or other tools as well as if there are safety concerns that would prohibit the repairs being completed in the field.

Fix Before Failure Fix Before Failure is Atlantic Lift Truck ,Inc.’s Forklift Fleet Maintenance Success Program. Simply put it allows companies to decrease downtime and realize substantial costs savings which increases your profitability. The program is centered around a concept referred to as the 3f approach to forklift maintenance success. This innovative approach allow its adopters to achieve up to 40% less downtime and substantial profitability through reductions in costly emergency repairs and wasteful downtime.

Total Maintenance and Repair (TMR) Total Maintenance and Repair is our most comprehensive maintenance program

and covers all maintenance and repair for the unit with some exceptions. Your Atlantic Lift sales associate can discuss these with you. TMR allows companies the assurance that they have complete coverage and a monthly, budgeted expense for the repair and upkeep of their forklift investment.

PM Plus+ Our PM Plus+ Program combines certain costs for planned maintenance as well

as a comprehensive extended full warranty into a monthly, budgeted payment to cover most of the costs for properly maintaining a new forklift. Often the program can be matched up to a lease to provide comprehensive coverage for normal maintenance and repairs.

Atlantic Preventive Maintenance Under the unbrella of Fix Before Failure (FBF), Atlantic’s Preventive

Maintenance combines detailed visual and operation inspections, standard factory recommended maintenance procedures at approved intervals and direct communication with the customer on recommended repairs. A full written evaluation is discussed with the customer at the point of service and then provided in written backup and electronic PDF format.

Atlantic Lift’s Product Support team will work closely with you to tailor a program that takes into consideration your business’ application specifications when it comes to the hours of usage of the units, the nature of where the units are run and the training/skill of the operators.

We appreciate the challenges that face organizations to properly maintaining a forklift fleet. We closely monitor the factory recommended service intervals on units and offer the proper service maintenance according to the manufacturers’ guidelines. This has special importance when it comes to properly maintaining factory warranty and extended warranties.

Individual Operator Safety Training Classes are held in our Baltimore Training Center, usually on the first Tuesday of the month. This course is designed for a general understanding of the Safe Operating Procedures as outlined by OSHA. Divided into seven sections, its focus is on fundamentals and includes a classroom and practical component. The class has both Written and Practical Exams on general forklift operation.

Customer Application Specific Safety Training Classes are conducted at the customer’s location and are facility and equipment specific. Our trainer takes a survey of the location to understand the applications and recognize areas of safety concerns as well as understand the expectations of the customer on safe operation, productivity and costs considerations. We can also work to establish safe operation incentive programs as well as implememtationi of safety items for impact monioring, daily inspection reporting and fleet management.

Train the TrainerAn in-depth training program designed to reinforce the skills and education of company appointed training specialists. Special attention is given to training materials including DVDs, PowerPoint presentations and student workbooks. Our trainer coaches on all required areas of knowledge and operations, as well as discussing presentation techniques. Training materials necessary to properly train and assess forklift operators as outlined by OSHA regulations are thoroughly studied and discussed. Upon completion the new trainer is typically issued a complete training kit to include all the materials. As an Atlantic trained Trainer we continue to provide safety related information and offer safety materials as a service thereafter.

Safety Rodeo Consultation is a special service offered from Atlantic for companies that want to continue to reinforce safe operation in the workplace by showcasing best practices in an event format. Working with the customer, Atlantic can assist in all details of the safety event including recommendation and placement of Safety courses, judging

the event, emcee and all other details according to the customers’ expectations for the event.

“OSHA requires all operators to be trained on safe operations.”Whatever your training goals, we tailor a program that meets your expectations in a comprehensive and convenient way.

Technical Training on Equipment is available to those companies that employ thier own technicians and wish to keep them in the know by enrolling them in training that addresses the known existing systems of lift trucks as an increased understanding of teh technological devbelopments of newer equipment. These classes are taught by factory trainined and experienced field tehnical engineers and are tailored to your expectations. Properly trained technicians save money and downtime in your fleet.

Forklift Safety Refresher and On-site EvaluationsAtlantic can provide Safety Refresher Training to reinforce the Safe Operating Practices set forth by customers’ who have already performed the Full Safety Class at some point. Atlantic refresh-er is typically a combination of questions taken from classroom component of safety training and a hands-on practical component. Atlantic can also be a valued partner and evaluate personnel while they operate in their respective working environments. *Note-There are specific details that need to be addressed prior to determining if this is effective

Our fleet includes everything from electric pallet jacks to 40,000lb pneumatic outdoor forklifts and everything in between! We have LP, diesel, and electric forklifts, as well as scissor lifts, reach trucks, and order pickers. We also rent industrial batteries.
