Overview he ATMEGA Project Board is designed to work with ATMEGA16/32. The
ATMEGA16/32 is a low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontroller based on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture. It executes powerful instructions in a singleclock cycle and achieves throughputs approaching 1 MIPS per MHz allowing
the system designer to optimize power consumption.
Features
On board 1 Ampere power supply using LM7805 voltage regulator
Power supply indicator using On-board LED
Input and Output filter capacitors
Decoupling capacitor for brownout protection
JTAG (IEEE std. 1149.1 Compliant) and In-System Programming Interface(ISP).
I/O Expansion headers
32 Programmable I/O Lines
UART expansion(TTL compatible)
Analog reference header
Module Snapshot
Following figure contains the Snapshot of the RFID Reader along with TTL-RS232 Adapter board.
Connection Details
How to Program using JTAG
The JTAG ICE is used as a On-chip Debugger on all AVR 8-bitmicrocontrollers with the JTAG interface. This project board isequipped with standard JTAG Connector for interfacing with JTAGdevices such as AVR JTAGICE mkII, AVR Dragon, JTAGICE3etc.

How to Program using ISP
The following diagram shows how to program using ISP. Theproject board has 6 pin Standard ISP connector.
While Programming, its better to use External Power Source,
because USB port can only supply maximum current of 500mA.
More tools you may require1. Users may use our JTAG programmer for AdvancedDebugging interface.
2. Users may use our low cost avrdude based USBAsp In-system Programmer.
3. Users may use our USB-Serial converter used toconnect with Laptops and PC’s without serial ports.
