The Australian Taxation Office website is owned by the Australian Government.

The intention of this site is the managing and shaping of the revenue systems that then lead to social and economic policy.

Used to sponsor services to and for Australians. They are there to manage revenue and they do so

through a range of accumulating systems including income tax, GST, superannuation, excise and they take charge over a range of benefits and refunds.

Also investigates tax planning, persistent tax debtors, globalisation and the cash economy.

Individuals Business Non-profit Government Tax professionals Super funds.

On the right hand side of the home page there are many handy and useful tabs which include:

My opinion of this site:- This site gives you all the information you require about

taxation issues and your obligations. It is extremely handy for any person who is planning on setting up a business and needs help relating to tax. It is a very reliable source of information as it is government based and is very easy to navigate. This site could be improved by the use of more colour.
