System internal structure & wiring

ATS contain the AMF module which can get the remote

start signal from SAM2-Gen Controller/SAU to start &

stop D.G and to make the system go into Hybrid

cycles . It can also supply alarm and D.G running information to

SAM2 to monitor the D.G status.

ATS check method How to confirm ATS bypass?

Note: If site battery can not supply power to site. Contact

authority and do the repair after the site battery is good. Step1: If Gen-set is supplying power to site by ATS, check

which by-pass method was used on GCB. 1. Is something used to close contactor? 2. Is the relay closed with manual handle 3. Was Live wire connected directly to

GCB coil? 4. Was relay normally closed contact used to supply power to GCB by changing the wire connection 5. Was negative looped to BO3? 6. Was negative looped to Fuel? Note the contactor is power ,will get in the shock

ATS check method -How to check Relay ? Example: 1. 根据线号 #19 找到对应的继电器 RS1 和 AMF 输出口 BO1 ,导线应导通; 2. 如果继电器工作, RS1 线圈的一个脚对 BO1 的电压是 12VDC, 另一个脚是 0VDC. 3. 如果电压测量结果满足第 2 条,但继电器不工作,继电器线圈可能损坏。

ATS wiring survey process Check the ATS manufactory and model. Record or take

photos for check report.

Check if you have wiring diagram for this type ATS,

check the wire number between wiring diagram and

practical ATS. If there is difference, correct it.

ATS wiring survey process If you don’t have wiring diagram for this type of

ATS, fill the components name and the wire

number on the typical wiring diagram according to

existing ATS in use. The diagram will help you

locate the fault part.

Check wiring from Gen-set to ATS

There are 6 cable from ATS to Gen-set. Wrong wiring lead to start motor and fuel solenoid damage and other accident. Check and confirm wiring properly.

#1 Battery Negative Wire--- Voltage between #1 wire and ground is 0VDC.

#2 Battery Positive Wire--- Voltage between #2 wire and ground is 12VDC. Note: Battery Positive wire connect to breaker first, then connect to AMF module, DC relay in ATS .

Check cables from ATS to SAM2-Gen Controller

Sometime the Inala Team member already connect wire to

AMF module or terminal in the ATS. These wires maybe

effect AMF module working properly. Remove these wires

and insulate each wire.
