Attachment H1 – Raw material, Intermediates and Product Handling.

Raw Materials Storage Materials on site are stored in both internal and external designated storage areas. The delineation of areas is illustrated in Drawing DG1000 for Building 1 and Drawing DG2000 for Building 2. Building 1 comprises of the following areas:

� Goods In/Out � Warehouse � Manufacturing � Personnel � QC Labs � Administration

The Warehouse is located on the west end of Building 1 and contains steel racking for storage of raw materials and finished goods. The warehouse is connected to the pre-weigh storage area, warehouse offices, receiving areas and weighing booths from where raw materials make their way into the main production/manufacturing area of Building 1. At Building 1 all raw materials are received into the warehouse where they are stored. Materials are transferred to the pre-weigh storage area on an as need basis for batches when requested by production from where they are taken for weighing in the weigh booth rooms. Any unused materials are brought back to the warehouse for storage. The material weighed and dispensed in the weigh booth room is transferred to the main manufacturing area for processing. There is an external chemical store and hazardous waste store located at the rear of Building 1. The store is split in two by a central wall separating the chemicals storage from the hazardous waste storage. This store is the bulk storage unit for the Main Production areas where chemicals are brought in on an as required basis to the production floors. The chemical store is bunded and is secured by a padlock for authorised personnel only. A spill protection area consisting of a paved area enclosed by grills exists at the entrance doors to both the chemicals storage and hazardous waste storage area. The main access to this external chemical store is through the main access gate located at the rear of the facility and access through the gate is controlled by Forest personnel only. There is also a storage area within the boiler compound area for the storage of gas cylinders. These cylinders are removed as required. There is no bulk storage of materials in the boiler room. There are a number of mobile plastic bunds in the boiler room for the local storage of boiler treatment chemicals. Building 2 comprises of the following areas:

� Goods In/Out � Warehouse � Manufacturing � DPI Manufacturing Suite � Personnel � DPI Lab � Future Development

Similar to Building 1, the warehouse at Building 2 is located at the southern end of Building 2 and contains steel racking for the storage of raw materials and finished goods. There are no in-process storage areas in Building 2 and all materials are stored in the warehouse.

There are 2 no. external chemical stores at Building 2; which are located along the southern façade, one of which is under the ownership of manufacturing personnel. This chemical store (BUND 14/B2) is bunded, has 2 no. sliding doors and is secured by a padlock for authorised personnel only. It contains IBCs and drums of materials used in the manufacturing process. The second chemical store (BUND 13/B2) is under the ownership of the QC laboratory and is secured by a padlock for authorised personnel only. The chemical store has 2 no. sliding doors and contains mixed solvent waste from the QC laboratory and also boiler treatment chemicals. In addition, there is an external ethanol store located along the western façade, at the rear of Building 2. Similarly, this chemical store is a prefabricated metal storage unit. The ethanol store has a capacity for the storage of 12 no. 1,000 litres IBCs of Ethanol which is used in the manufacturing process. There are no external storage tanks for bulk storage of fuels or solvents. Therefore there are no bunded areas with requirements for integrity testing. Raw Materials Handling Details of all raw materials, intermediates and products generated are included in Tables G.1 (i) and G (ii). There are detailed standard operating procedure in place for the storage and handling of raw materials and intermediates. The SOP reference CLO-SOP-WHS-00001 “Receipt, Identification, Storage and Handling of Purchased goods” is employed for this operation. In addition, there is also a SOP in place for the handling of solvents, namely ethanol. This SOP, reference CLO-SOP-MAN-00150 deals specifically with the transport of Ethanol IBC’s to and within the plant.

Warehousing Operations Warehousing operations carried out on site involve incoming stores, and intermediate and final product storage areas. Warehouse areas include the following:

a) Goods inwards loading bay area b) Goods inwards and sampling staging area c) Raw material warehouse d) Consumables cage e) Secondary packaging cage f) Finished goods warehouse g) Reject material cage h) Dispatch loading bay area

The warehouse is temperature controlled, and a facility pest control plan is in place. Standard Operating Procedure CLO-SOP-WHS-00003 outlines the procedure for the warehousing of products. Bund Register Table 1 and Table 2 outline the register of bunds employed at the Forest Laboratories facility. A map showing the locations of fixed bunds for Building 1 and Building 2 is included in this attachment.

The details of waste materials are provided in Tables H.1 (i) and H.1 (ii). The waste quantities are for the calendar year 2012. Waste is generated within the facility on a continuous basis and can be broken down into:
