Federal Student Aid requires that before SLCC may disburse aid to a student, we must be able to confirm that that student began attendance in each course in which they are enrolled.

Federal Student Aid

To meet this requirement, effective Summer 2015 SLCC requires all students to complete an attendance confirmation assignment

By creating this assignment in each course and section you teach, you provide the opportunity for students receiving FSA to demonstrate they have begun attending school

At certain times throughout the semester the Financial Aid Office will run a process that will let us know who completed the assignment and who did not. Those who did not will not receive their aid.
