ABOUT SUN EXPRESS

Sun Express service is fast commuter transportation that makes limited stops from outlying areas to major destinations, and operates Monday through Friday during peak com-muting hours. Sun Express routes serve Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Rita Ranch and the Catalina Foothills.

Look for route numbers ending in “X,” i.e. “Rita Ranch 110X” on the sign above the front window of the bus. Express buses serve only stops with an “Express” bus stop sign.

DESTINATIONS

Commuters can take Sun Express to their workplace at or near the following locations:

University of ArizonaServes University of Arizona and Banner-University Medical Center.

Downtown Tucson Serves offices for City of Tucson, Pima County, State and Federaland many downtown businesses.

Aero Park ComplexServes Raytheon, FlightSafety International, and Bombardier

Other DestinationsAdditional destinations include UA Science & Tech Park and multiple locations in Oro Valley.

TRANSFERSIf paying cash, all passengers must have a SunGO Card or SunGO ID & Card for a transfer to be issued. Transfers are valid for two hours in any direction.

Transfers to Express routes will require an additional payment, and can be paid with stored value on a SunGO Card ($0.60) or SunGO ID & Card ($1.60), GoTucson Transit app or with exact change.

Express routes have more stops than the time points listed. See the list of stops on each route page. Estimated arrival times can be found online. Be aware the bus can leave a stop earlier than estimated times.

RIDER TIPS

1. If paying with SunGO, load a pass or value before you board.

2. If paying with the GoTucson Transit app, activate your pass before boarding and show the

valid pass on your phone to driver. An upcharge may be required if transferring.

3. Let others exit before you board.

4. Tap your SunGO card on the farebox when you board the bus.

5. Press the vertical “Stop Requested” bar to signal you want to exit.

6. All buses are ADA accessible and service animals are welcome with their handler.

7. Load your bike on the bike rack located in the front of the bus before you board.

8. Food & beverages must be in closed containers.
