How we addressed our audiences

When attracting and addressing our audiences, we decided to use several formats that are very common these days when companies wanted to advertise a film.

We created a facebook page, a twitter page, a film website and a film poster.

This covers all aspects of P&A because we have an online format with interactive aspects as well as a format that could be displayed on buses or in theatres etc.

This means that there would be nowhere that our target audience could not see our film.

First we created a facebook page.

We felt this was a very important part of P&A because facebook is one of the most popular social networking sites on the internet.

Here fans can like the page which will allow them to see clips, photos and get regular updates on the films progress etc.

Twitter Page

Our next creation was a twitter page.

Twitter is another of the very popular social media sites that has huge numbers of subscribers.

Here fans can also follow our film page and receive regular updates like posters, commercials and contests etc.

Film Poster

Film posters are another very important aspect of P&A.

Very few movies will attempt any kind of publicity without a selection of film posters, even small budget ones.

Posters are very useful because they can be printed any size and be placed anywhere e.g. commercial boards, buses, buildings, in cinemas etc.

Film posters can also be purchased by fans meaning they can also function as merchandise.
