A new era . . .
Construction has begun on the new Auburn University Recreation and Wellness Center. The facility will provide approximately 240,000 square feet of recreational space for Auburn students, faculty and staff to use in their pursuit of a healthier lifestyle.
Location
The proximity of the new facility creates a direct link to the Student Village Housing, future Residence and Dining Hall at North Donahue, Athletic Complex and Student Athlete Development Center. In addition, it will be convenient to the Martin Aquatics Center, intramural fields and the existing recreational tennis courts.

This facility will comply with green building or LEED standards. This undertaking reinforces the pledge by Auburn University to make sustainability one of the guiding principals at Auburn.
