  • 1. RESULTS FROM MY AUDIENCE FEEDBACK!

2. I created a questionnaire on zoomerang, and I posted the link of it on my Facebook wall, I also posted the images of my front cover, contents page and double page spread. This is how I have gathered the feedback. 3. Q1. I asked them whether they were female or male and the biggest response as you can tell from the graph was female, only one person more than the male. So I suppose I could address my magazine towards females, but it wasnt a very large audience so I will address it to both male and female. 4. Q2. It is quite clear that the best age for the audience would be 15-20. This is probably the best age as the magazine would suit this age than any older as it contains artists that are associated with the younger generations. Also the language used is aimed more towards younger adults. 5. Q3. I asked the people if they read magazines and if so which one, there were a couple with the response of no, and then there were five who said yes, the most popular magazines that were read were NME and kerrang. Thistells us that they are interested in rock and indie music. 6. Q4. I ask whether they thought my cover, contents and DPS as a whole were good and why, many people said it was well organised, and that I was appealing, also some said the colours were good as It connotes the genre of the magazine. Also they said all together it looks professional. This is really positive feedback which I am very pleased with. 7. Q5. I was very pleased with the positive feedback I got. All of those who answered said yes, which has made me feel much better about my work and I am very pleased with the positive feedback. 8. Q6. I aske them to state five things they liked most about my magazine and it was mostly the colour scheme as it was mentioned in ach answer, also the images were good. Again I am very please with the positive feedback. 9. Q7. The advice I got back from the answers are very constructive, I was told that maybe a wider range of colour could be used but as I am supposed to keep to the codes and conventions of a music magazine I had to stick with a small variety of colours. 10. Q8. I asked here what stereotypical group/social group the magazine would most appeal too. As you can see from this chart, people most voter for punk. But I feel it would be for everyone who is into rock music. 11. Q9. I asked the audience what they thought of the images, coverlines, colour, layout, language and the article, I got a lot of constructive criticism and a lot of positive feedback which is really helpful. From these answers I would say that the images and colour where the most impressive part of the article. 12. Q10. . I asked the audience if there was anything I should change, and they gave me some constructive answers, one person said that the layout of the colours could be changes slightly and another said the fonts on the cover. Also my DPS didnt have a line between the title and standfirst. I
