OVERVIEW You may face a wound that just won’t quit. That is … not until you DOMINATE it.
The DOMINATE approach covers the spectrum of wound healing stages and can serve as a touchstone to standardize the management approach to even the most complex wound. This can have the advantage of reducing treatment variations while simultaneously optimizing resource utilization.
This symposium will review wound care clinical practice guidelines for Debridement, Offloading, Moisture, Malignancy, Medication, Mental Health, Infection, Inflammation, Nutrition, Arterial, Technical Advances, Edema, and Education.
AUDIENCE This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, residents, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals who are involved in the care of patients with acute and chronic wounds.
