Audio Visual User Manual
Rita Anne Rollins Building Dual Projector Classrooms
• A Crestron control system manages this audio visual system. The touch panel will go to sleep and the screen may be blank.
• Touch the screen to wake the touch panel.• To use the AV system press the button shown above.
Introduction
• Use of the Audio Visual system is protected by a 4-digit passcode.
• Enter the 4-digit passcode, then press Enter.• If you do not know the passcode, contact CST Media Support
at 7-6712
Passcode Entry Page
• The warmup page, shown above, is displayed by the touch panel after a user chooses to turn on the projectors on the Mode Select page.
• After 30 seconds, the displays will be ready for use, and the Source Select Page will appear.
Warm Up Page
• After the warmup time has completed, the Basic Source Select page will appear.
• By default, the computer will be displayed by both displays, in Duplicate Mode.– Duplicate Mode will display the Primary Desktop on both
displays.– Dual Mode will display the Primary desktop on the left
screen, and the Extended desktop on the right screen.• Selecting Lectern Laptop, Blu-ray, or Document Camera will
display the video source on both displays automatically.• Press Switch to Advanced Mode for discrete source selection.• Press Screen Controls for manual operation of the projection
screens.• When finished, please press the Shutdown System button
and turn off the system.
Source Select – Basic Mode
• Advanced Mode gives the user discrete control over which source is displayed by each projector.
• When selecting the Computer as a source, you are shown a window allowing you to select which of the 2 desktops are displayed.
• Basic controls are shown for the Blu-ray player and Document Camera when selected as a source.
• Press Picture Mute to visually mute the projected image.
Source Select – Advanced Mode
• Selecting the Blu-ray player as the source will automatically display the Basic Controls menu for the player.
• From here all basic disc commands are available for the user.
• If necessary, advanced menu controls can be accessed by pressing the Advanced Controls button.
Blu-Ray Controls
• The Document Camera can be controlled manually using the buttons to the left, or can be aligned using stored preset zoom levels.
• It is recommend to leave Auto Focus Turned On.• The zoom presets can be customized any time by first
zoom in/out to your desired zoom, then press and hold the desired button (either Preset 1, 2, or 3) for 3 seconds.
Document Camera Controls
• Room Controls gives the user manual control over the projection screens.
• Please note this capability is for convenience. The system will automatically raise and lower the screens during warmup and cooldown.
Room Controls
• A press of the Shutdown System button (located on the bottom right side of the Source Select page, will display the Shutdown Verification page.
• Choose Yes to turn off the projectors and put the system in an idle state.
• Press No to go back to the Source Select page.
Shutdown System Page
• The cool down page, shown above, is displayed by the touch panel after a user chooses to turn off the system on the Shutdown Verify page.
• After 60 seconds, the system will be ready for use, and the Welcome Page will appear.
