Audioboo is like youtube but for sound
The easiest way to record an audioboo is to download an application onto an iphone or android phone, which allows you to speak
directly into the phone and then upload onto the audioboo website.
You can also record an audioboo using a microphone attached to your computer. When you click on the green ‘start recording’ button
on the homepage, this grey box appears.
You can also upload audio files: AIFF, WAVE, FLAC, OGG. MP3, AAC.
Download audioboo as an
app on your phone.
Click record and then when you’re
ready, click on ‘start’. You don’t have to record in one go. You can click pause once you’ve started
recording.
When you’ve finished, take a
phone, describe it, and add tags to
help people find it. Tags have to be all
one word.
When you click ‘Save + Upload’ it
automatically publishes to your audioboo site as well as any other accounts you have linked to it, such as
twitter or facebook.
If you tick ‘autopost’, when you publish your audioboo from your phone, it automatically posts to facebook,
twitter, posterous or tumblr.
You can link your audioboo accounts to other social media
sites.
