COURTESY ANNOUNCEMENTS WEDNESDAY NIGHT TABLE

UPCOMING DATES: AUGUST 5TH, SEPTEMBER 2ND AND OCTOBER 7TH

Saint Teresa of Kolkata Parish prepares and serves the Wednesday meal at St. Mark Lutheran Church monthly for Community 341. Dinners are available for those in need and those in the community simply desirous of fel-lowship, every Wednesday evening. We provide an en-tree, veg or salad, and dessert. Volunteers (individuals or church groups and friends) are always needed to purchase, prep, cook, serve, or to clean-up. Volunteer for all afternoon, or just for part of the day. Please call or text 412-583-3443 if you would like to join the meal team. Also, please feel free to come by and share a meal with our friends in Christ, even if you're not working. This is a great opportunity for ministries, youth groups and church organizations to do a community ser-vice project together.

FAMILY HOLY HOUR- Every 3rd Monday of the month from 3-4PM (our next meeting is scheduled for August 17. We will be using the chapel at St. Pius X school building(If we get a larger group we will use the temporary Church in the gym or both). This is a great opportunity to show your children the power of Jesus in the Eucharist and spend time in prayer togeth-er.

WEDDINGS—Did you just get engaged? Are you won-dering what the next step should be? If you are Catholic and wanting to continue practicing your faith, you must meet with the priest at least 6 months before getting mar-ried. Whether you are planning a wedding in a Catholic Church or another denomination you will need to meet with the priest to have the proper paperwork completed so that you can continue receiving the Eucharist. Please call the Parish Office at 412-531-2135.

FAMILY MINISTRY PARISH RAFFLE– we will be having a parish raffle on the feast day of St. Teresa of Kolkata, Sep-tember 5, 2020. Each family is asked to sell a book of 15 tickets at $2 a ticket. Since most of our fund-raisers are not able to be held during this Pandemic, we ask you to try to support us in this Raffle effort. Thanks!

SHEPHERD'S HEART -There is a box in the entrance of the gym (under the table) at St. Pius X where you can donate individually wrapped food items, toiletries, socks, etc. for Shepherd's Heart Homeless Shelter. Monetary and grocery store gift cards are greatly appreciated and may be placed in the offertory basket in an envelope marked "Shepherd's Heart". We will be packing lunch-es on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 12:00 NOON in St. Pius X Hall. The Knitting/Crocheting group will not be meeting until September.

Fr. Adam Potter & Deacon Scott Potter

Welcome to our new priest, Fr. Adam Potter. He is the son of our new deacon, Deacon Scott Potter. May God Bless them in their ministry to our Parish, and may God Bless all of us as we continue to be united as One Family in Christ our Lord.

Wondering where items from our various Church Buildings ended up and are be-ing used. Here are just a few:

This drawing of St. Pamphilus used to hang in the Sacristy at St. Pam-philus. It now is on top of the dis-play cabinet at SPX for our parish families and Religious Education children to see.

The Easter Candle stand was from St. Pamphilus. It now is being used at The Resurrection Site.

The Monstrance on this altar was from St. Pamphilus and is now be-ing used at the chaple at SPX school building. We used it last week for our Family Ministry Holy Hour and will continue each month using it there.

This Ciborium, that was at St. Pamphilus Church and donated by a family to honor their daughter Clau-dia Lynn Liotta, is being used to hold the consecrat-ed hosts at our St. Cathe-rine site.

The relic to St. Anthony of Padua is used at the St. Catherine’ site every Tues-day after the 8:45AM Mass during the Novena to St. Anthony.

The beautiful Sacred Heart statue was placed at St. Catherine’s church build-ing in the shrine room.

Preserving the history and memories of our former Parishes as we are now united as ONE. St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish.

Most of the things in this case were dis-played at Our Lady of Loreto in the hallway near the CCD office. They are now dis-played in this case at the St. Pius X site in the school building for our families and chil-dren to view.

These statues came from the Res-urrection School Building and be-ing used at the SPX Gym set up as a temporary Church during the pandemic. The vigil light rack is also from Resurrection Site.

The Processional Cross was from St. Pamphilus and is now being used at the altar at the St. Catherine Site.
