Membership Information Hostesses: CSUWA Board
October Meeting Thursday, October 1, 2015
Dear Ladies, Over the past several months, members of the CSUWA’s Board of Directors felt the need to grow closer to our roots and rekindle our relationship with CSU. This shift reflects the shift in our mission, which over the years has evolved from a social group to a development effort to provide scholarships to CSU students. To enable us to thrive and grow in our current mission, CSUWA needs to attract new members from the CSU community. Thus to encourage participation in CSUWA by women in the CSU community, some CSUWA functions will be held on campus this year. We understand that to many of you the idea of being on campus is scary! You may be asking yourself, “where am I supposed to park?”, “where is this building?”, and then “where is this room?”, and “how am I ever going to be able to navigate through this sea of students?!?” No cause for worry … the members of the CSUWA’s Board of Directors are and will be here to help you! In addition, since no one was able to accept the role of president this year, each CSUWA monthly board meeting and monthly general meeting program will be moderated by a different CSUWA board Member! Our annual “September Tea” will be Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the recently remodeled Lory Student Center! See page 2 for details and directions! —- Colorado State University Women’s Association Board of Directors
