Naila Ansari Graduating this year from Point Park University’s Conserva-tory of Performing Arts program, Naila is an original AWCDE company dancer. She has worked and performed with world-renowned artists such as Robert Battle, Christopher Hug-gins, Crystal Frazier, Francesca Harper, Ann Reinking, Kate Skarpetowska, David Parsons, Jason McDole, Doug Bentz and Kiesha Lalama-White. Naila appeared as a lead dancer in the movie Sorority Row. She has worked off-Broadway with Darrin Henson in Dreams Do Travel. Most recently Naila took part in the prestigious summer project Springboard Danse in Montreal, Quebec.

Angela Dice A native of South Korea but raised in Somerset, Pennsylvania, Angela graduated summa cum laude from the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University, where she earned her BFA in Dance. Angela has worked with Terence Greene, Christopher Huggins, Crystal Frazier, William McClelland, Greer Reed-Jones, and Robert Battle. Her film credits include Sorority Row, and she has performed in 42nd Street and The Pajama Game at Mountain Playhouse in Jennerstown, Penn-sylvania. Angela also teaches dance at Propel Schools in the Pittsburgh region.

Kendra Dennard A native of Southfield, Michigan, Kendra’s artistic training is a colorful mélange that ranges from contemporary and clas-sical jazz and ballet to tap, singing and acting. She was a fellowship student at The Ailey School, in New York City, as well as a scholarship recipient to summer dance program at Point Park Univeristy, where she recently finished her bache-lor’s degree in dance. A founding AWCDE company member, Kendra’s performance credits include the works of Kiki Lucas, Kristopher Storey, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Francesca Harper and Christopher Huggins.

Raymond Ejiofor Raymond, a senior at Carnegie Mellon University, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in decision science with a double minor in engineering studies and technology and policy. He began his training under Judith Rhodes Calgaro in Arlington, Virginia. From there Raymond has worked with various choreographers including Michele de la Reza, Peter Kope, Princess Mhoon, Jamie Nichols, Deborah Brockus, Pearlann Porter, Christo-pher Huggins, and Robert Battle. He has also trained with the Los Angeles-based Brockus Project Dance Company and the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company. Raymond is the founding artistic director of CMU’s Dancers’ Symposium Dance Company. As an instructor, he teaches introduction to advanced jazz and hip hop at a number of studios and universi-ties around the Pittsburgh area.

Kaylin Horgan Kaylin is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Creative and Perform-ing Arts High School and in her beginnings, at age 14, be-came the youngest member of Pearlann Porter’s Pillow Project Dance Company (of which she is still involved). A founding member of AWCDE, Kaylin has worked with various cho-reographers, including Terence Greene, Christopher Hug-gins, Crystal Frasier, Stephanie Powell, Maddy Landi, Talise Campbell-Drame, William B. McClellan, Heather Farri, Reggie Wilson and Robert Battle. Kaylin featured her own works at the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts, Point Park University, The Pillow Project’s Second Saturdays, NewMoves Contemporary Dance Festival and Pittsburgh Opera Theater’s Beggar’s Holiday to name a few.

Delana Jerry [apprentice]After graduating from Rogers’ Middle School of Perform-ing Arts, Delana moved on to Pittsburgh Creative and Per-forming Arts High School and is loving every second of her school dance life. She has been dancing for four and a half years, and loves inspiring and touching peoples’ hearts. Per-formance experience Includes: NAKA Entertainment, Evolve, Jones Summer Dance Intensive, Point Park University Inter-national Summer Dance, and CAPA’s showing for First Lady Michelle Obama and other spouses of the G-20 leaders.

Rehima Jordan [apprentice]Rehima attends Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts High School, where she also performed for First Lady Michelle Obama and other spouses of the G-20 leaders. She has been pursuing engineering and has gained recognition and accep-tance into Pitt University’s Engineering (PECAP) Program for selected high school students. Her stage credits include ap-pearances in the Pittsburgh’s CLO Summer Season produc-tions of Annie, The Music Man, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Oklahoma, Oliver! and Peter Pan. During her time there, she had the honor to work with Sally Struthers, Ed Begley Jr., Jeff Goldblum, Patrick Cassidy, David Osmond, Shoshanna Bean, Shirley Jones, Cathy Rigby, Patrick Page and Ugly Betty’s Mark Indelicato.

Rebekah Kuczma A founding company member of AWCDE, Rebekah graduat-ed from Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts High School, and recently began pursuing her bachelor’s degree in dance from Point Park University. Rebekah, a native of Pittsburgh, danced in various shows, including Dress for Success’ Woman Rock, Bach Choir of Pittsburgh’s Carmina Burana Africana, First Voice: A Pittsburgh International Black Arts Festival and the Pillow Project’s Second Saturdays. Rebekah worked with a variety of choreographers—Pearlann Porter, Kaylin Horgan, Terence Greene, Crystal Frazier, Christopher Huggins just to name a few.

Annalee Traylor Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Annalee began her for-mal training at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. She went on to graduate high school from the North Carolina School of the Arts with a concentration in contemporary dance. An-nalee has recently obtained her BFA in dance performance from the Conservatory at Point Park University where she had the honor of dancing in works by Bill T. Jones, Robert Battle, Daniel Ezralow, Doug Varone, Jason McDole, and Kie-sha Lalama-White. A founding member of AWCDE, Annalee has worked with renowned choreographers Robert Battle, Christopher Huggins, William McClellan, Crystal Frazier and Terence Greene.

James A. Washington James, a Rochester, N.Y. native and founding member of the AWCDE, is studying dance at Point Park University, where he expects to graduate this year. He has worked with and performed pieces by Nicolas Petrov, Francesca Harper, Sher-ry Zunker, Jason McDole, Robert Battle, Peter Merz, Kiesha Lalama-White, Frank Chaves, Laurie Eisenhower, Alicia Cutia, Christopher Huggins, Terence Greene, Antonio Brown and Crystal Frazier. This past summer, James attended the pres-tigious Springboard Danse Montreal in Quebec. While there, he worked with Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal and performed chorography by Azsure Barton.
