On behalf of The Town of Aurora and Aurora Town Council, I would like to thank the Aurora Chamber of Commerce for the outstanding work it does to continuously support and cultivate our community’s business sector. Aurora is a vibrant and growing Town. We have a well-educated and skilled workforce. Our Town is interconnected with various transportation methods making it easy to get to and from Toronto.
As a past President of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce and former business owner, I embrace the important process of growing a business and community. I appreciate the critical role of business in Aurora and the need to create strong partnerships.
According to Aurora’s 2015 employment survey results, the Town has added 12,190 jobs since 1998. Manufacturing, retail trade and educational services sectors accounted for the three largest shares of employment. Our business sector is constantly growing and progressing. We are attracting businesses both big and small, all of which we encourage to join the Aurora Chamber of Commerce to help stay connected and receive business support.
