Challenges for Goal #1: Increase attendance by increasing

percentage of students with 96% attendance by 3% as

    measured in June 2013.

Over 500 additional students missed over Thanksgiving

    week.

    Pg 4

There are many factors contributing to the other 1.1%

    drop.

ADA is slightly lower this year.

Challenges for Goal #2: Increase District wide API by 9

points or more over 2011-2012 API school year.

Although goal was not reached, it is worth noting that

Washington School, which had the largest drop in API,

is now Ma a Lin School. This dro 55 oints caused

the District as a whole to drop by 3 points.

If Washington is taken out of the calculations, the

District would have achieved the 9 point gain.

Washington School closed in June 2012 and re-opened

as Maya Lin School for 2012-13.
