Family
• Well this is my family. It ispretty big & I have to feed all of them with the moneyI earn by working on my farm.It is pretty hard to survive butWe make just enough to go on with my life
![Page 5: Australia In 1901- 1914](https://reader035.vdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022062615/547bc21db4af9f25178b4773/html5/thumbnails/5.jpg)
Religion
• This is the church in my Home town. We go thereevery Sabbath. It is a placewhere I can forget my worries& be happy-talking with my mates & most importantly Jesus.
![Page 6: Australia In 1901- 1914](https://reader035.vdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022062615/547bc21db4af9f25178b4773/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
Income
• My income as a farmer is not the best. Like Isaid I make just enough for myfamily to survive. A big family doesn’t help my income either. It israther stressful to keep the money Coming. These are hard times for my family & Australia with the new federation & everything.
![Page 7: Australia In 1901- 1914](https://reader035.vdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022062615/547bc21db4af9f25178b4773/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)
Hygiene
• Well I cannot say our hygiene is the best, noris it the worst compared tothe other families. We scarcely have enough water to drink & wash, so we can’t waste it on washing our hands. We were forced to excrete outside & we simply covered it up with mud. It graduallyDecomposes, so it doesn’t stink. It is the best wehave.
![Page 8: Australia In 1901- 1914](https://reader035.vdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022062615/547bc21db4af9f25178b4773/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
Work
• My work is not very interesting as the workers in the factoriesbut I do it to feed my family. The only good thing is that I can do work at my own will ratherthan an employer with a contract. I think I ambetter than the workers, as I have my free will stillintact
![Page 9: Australia In 1901- 1914](https://reader035.vdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022062615/547bc21db4af9f25178b4773/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
Entertainemnt
• I only entertainment after a good day’s work is
the radio. It keeps we calm &relaxed sometimes even refreshed to listen & hear to my favourite programs. It was great fun & kept my family entertainment for the day.

• I use a horse named Charlie as my transport tomove around the farm. He is good & healthy horse with alot of energy. He helps me around in my jobs & he liftsmy boredom a bit. He is agood companion & friend tome. A very dear one too.
