Are you young, or young at heart, and currently working within the Australian baking industry?If so, we would like to give you the opportunity to stand up and be counted in the best possible way!

This year, EOI are again partnering with the ASB to present the Australian Baking Industry National Scholarship Awards. Together with a select group of sponsors & industry Supporters, they want our baking industry to be the best in the world!

Therefore, if you’re currently employed in a retail, manufacturing or educational role within the Australian baking industry and feel you have a contribution to make, now is the time to stand up and be counted. Simply fill in & post off the Entry Form (overleaf).

After all, your contribution might just be good enough to earn you 1 of 8 fabulous Regional Scholarship trips to SE Queensland and 1 of 2 National Scholarship trips to visit Europain in Paris in 2020.

How do the Scholarships work? There are two (2) age categories - if you’re 18 to 24, then the Sydney J Packham Baking Industry Medal is your category. Fill in the entry form and we’ll send you your free entry kit containing a broad cross-section of industry questions for you to research, answer & return to us. If you’re aged 25 and over, the Arthur E Denison Trophy category is for you. The Denison requires entrants to research and submit a paper on one of the four industry topics, as nominated in the entry kit.

Who can enter? The Scholarships are open to almost anyone in our Australian baking industry. If in doubt, ring the coordinator on 03 8393 9385 or email admin@associationexecutiveservices.com.au to check your eligibility.

What are the rewards? The full list of prizes will be published in your FREE entry kit and will include two (2) fabulous overseas Scholarships (to Paris), up to eight (8) Five-Day Regional study tours to SE Queensland, and Certificates of Excellence.

Is it difficult? Some people find it reasonably easy & some a little difficult. Most find it exciting, and almost everyone who takes up the challenge finds it rewarding...plus...there’s plenty of industry help available out there too!

What do I do next? Simply fill in the entry coupon and post or email to the competition office. We will then dispatch your free entry kit - complete with questions, full prize details, handy hints, judging guidelines, and rules & regulations. Remember, there’s nothing to lose by entering, but everything to gain by taking up the challenge to be in it in 2019.
