• The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) is a territory in the south east of Australia, enclave within New South Wales. It is the smallest self-governing internal territory in Australia and the only city and by far the most populous community is Canberra, the capital city of Australia. Although the ACT is very small its never short of activities and attractions to do and see, exploring the treasure trove of national attractions, sprawling parklands and fashionable restaurants and bars.

• Canberra, Australia is generally a safe destination with travellers enjoying unhindered travel experiences in terms of their personal safety and security. Our stable political system, well-maintained roads, low crime rate and high standard of health make it a safe and easy country to explore.

• Climate- Sitting at 550 meters above sea level, Canberra has a typically dry climate with warm, dry summers and cold winters. Snow is very rare, however fog and overnight frosts are common. Rainfall is evenly spread throughout the year and most thunderstorm activity occurs between October and April.

• Canberra’s outdoor activities and adventures are one of the many great things Canberra has to offer, and that attracts tourist from all over the word. There is no better way to capture Canberra’s outdoors then hot air ballooning. Hot air ballooning in Canberra gives you the chance to fly directly over the Parliament House and the charm of seeing the early morning sun fill the valleys and lakes with soft morning light. Another great outdoor activity that cyclists, walkers and nature lovers can enjoy is the Centenary Trail. This gives you the chance to experience the best of Canberra’s urban and natural environments. The 145km self-guided trail loops around the ACT and is family friendly.

• The National Zoo & Aquarium is an interactive hands on experience with the creatures giving a memorable experience. There are also day tours you can encounter where you get to hand feed animals, and get to go into some animals enclosures.

• There is no better place to discover the Australian story than in Australia’s capital Canberra. Major tourist area in Canberra is the Australian War Memorial. The Australian War Memorial is one of the worlds greatest museums. When visiting Canberra this is a site you have to see/visiti. The Memorial commemorates the service and sacrifice of all Australian men and women in wartime.

• The National Museum of Australia holds some of the nation's most popular and important items including Phar Lap's heart and the Holden Prototype No.1, as well as many significant artefacts from Australia's Indigenous history. This is a major tourist area in Canberra and no matter what age you are you will certainty be interested in what this Museum has to offer.

• Visitors to the Parliament House can take a guided tour into the House of Representatives and Senate chambers, view historic documents and see democracy. A visit to the roof of Parliament House provides one of the best views of Canberra and the opportunity to get up close to the building's iconic 81 metre high flag mast, one of the world's largest stainless steel structures.

• The Telstra Tower provides a magnificent 360 degree view day and night of Canberra’s region.

Canberra offers has a variety of transportation gateway & networks including;• Buses- The bus system within Canberra is one of the best in Australia.

With minimal traffic on the road buses are almost always on time. During the week buses are very frequent to most locations and even on weekends enough buses run to make getting to anywhere in Canberra easy.

• Taxi’s• Cycling- the city has spent millions on an extensive bicycle path network

plus on-road cycle lanes along arterial roads.• Cars- hire cars or your own car• Walking- The nation’s capital is a planned city within a park with a great
