In addition, the team is accountable for: Our Sales & Relationship Excellence Program, enabling the business bank to identify and meet more of our customer’s needs in an appropriate and customer centric manner. Ensuring the delivery of change packages to the frontline in a way that ensures successful adoption, absorption and retention. Driving our cost out and value realisation agenda through execution of key productivity and related programs of work. Managing and coordinating BPB’s Line 1 Risk Management efforts, including the facilitation of a number of control & governance forums. YOUR TEAM:

• Support project deliverables and assist with the resolution of issues and project risks • Learn and leverage various methodologies to create pragmatic “fit for purpose” solutions • Analyse documents and prepare/run workshop with stakeholders in support of agreed scope • Prepare analytical reviews, documentation and underlying reporting & governance packs • Prepare and deliver presentations • Establish and build strong networks and collaborative teams across key stakeholders• Identify and propose new cost out opportunities

YOUR REPORTING LINES:

The role reports to the Head of BPB Productivity Transformation within the overall BPB Strategy & Operations Team however you will rotate through the teams in Strategy and Operations through your time on the Summer Intern program.An additional ‘indirect’ reporting line is created so that you will report into the overall leader of the program you are working on during the rotation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be expected to perform the following tasks:• Support project manager or initiative lead in the delivery of programs of work to an agreed timeframe • Work productively as part of the team or independently to meet deadlines• Review data, documents & processes and generate meaningful presentations and insights• Create presentation and workshop material as well as facilitate discussions with business stakeholders • Create management and project reporting packs and associated insights • Contribute to and ensure open two way communication within project team and business stakeholders• Assist in building a culture where everybody drives continuous improvement • Contribute innovative ideas for improvements to the BPB Strategy and Operations business unit• Build relationships and use your networks to increase knowledge across the business• Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the Australian business banking, private banking and equities markets, with particular regard to current and future trends

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Undertaking tertiary study in Commerce or related degree.
