Khalid Hafeez

Khalid Hafeez is Professor in Operations Management at the University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Before this position he held the position of and Dean at the e-School of Business and Quality Management in Hamdan Bin Mohamed e-University, Dubai, UAE. Prior to that he was a Professor at the York Management School, the University of York, UK. Professor Hafeez also served as the Yorkshire forward knowledge transfer champion for 7 years. He was the founding Director for the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Bradford Management School UK, where he also taught on the Bradford Executive MBA program which has been frequently ranked amongst the top ten in UK. He has supervised more than 15 PhD students to completion and has written over 100 technical research articles those have attracted more than 840 citations worldwide. Professor Hafeez has also completed an Executive Education Training Programme at the Harvard Business School USA, and is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and Certified Project Manager and EFQM European Assessor Certified from Brussels. Besides, he was awarded a certificate of merit from the House of Lord UK in recognition of his services for education and community.

Dr. Abu Umar Faruq Ahmad

Dr. Abu Umar Faruq Ahmad is Senior Researcher of International Shari`ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA), and Associate Professor at INCEIF, the Global University of Islamic Finance, Malaysia. He also chairs the Shari`ah Advisory Board at Islamic Cooperative Finance Australia Ltd. and Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of Australian Muslim welfare Centre Inc. respectively. Dr. Faruq has been investing his skills, time and energy in disseminating the knowledge of Shari`ah and Shari`ah-compliant banking, finance, and insurance; Shari`ah advising in issues pertaining to Islamic financial products and services; editing and reviewing refereed journals; and developing course contents at different academic levels of a few universities. His varied career experiences span the areas of the laws of Islamic banking and finance, Islamic jurisprudence, case studies in Islamic banks and financial institutions, and critical analysis of Islamic financial products and services from Shari`ah perspectives. He has also been engaged in presenting research papers at numerous international conferences on Islamic finance in various jurisdictions. He has many books, monographs, chapters in edited books, refereed journal articles, and conference proceedings to his credit. Dr Faruq holds a PhD in Islamic Finance Law and a LLM (Hons) in Islamic Banking Law from the University of Western Sydney (Australia) with High Distinction. He also obtained Lissans (BA Hons.) in Shari`ah from the Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Dr Mohamed Eskandar Shah

Dr Mohamed Eskandar Shah Mohd Rasid holds a PhD in Finance from University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. He also holds a Master in International Economics and Finance from University of Queensland, Australia and a Bachelor in Business Administration (Finance) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Prior to joining INCEIF, Dr Eskandar was an Assistant Professor at Department of Finance, Kulliyah of Economics and Management Sciences, IIUM. He taught Futures, Options and Risk Management and International Finance at the undergraduate level and Corporate Finance at the postgraduate level. During his doctoral studies, he worked as a part time tutor at University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent International College. His main research interests are in the area of asset pricing, portfolio theory, capital structure and international finance. He has published articles in refereed international and local journals. He currently serves as Treasurer for Malaysian Finance Association (MFA).

Ibrahim HussainiAliero

Ibrahim HussainiAliero is a senior lecturer in the Department of Economics, UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria. Dr. Ibrahim received his B. Sc. Ed/Economics from UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto, and Master of Economics from International Islamic University Malaysia and PhD Economics from UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto. Dr. Ibrahim has experiences in teaching and research in Islamic and conventional Economics. Dr. Ibrahim was a visiting senior lecturer to Umaru Musa ‘Yaradua University Katinsa, Nigeria and senior lecturer on sabbatical in the Department of Economics, Bayero University Kano- Nigeria. Dr. Ibrahim has published papers in academic books and Journals, such as Islamic Culture, al-Ijtihad the Journal of the Islamization of Knowledge and Contemporary Issues, Nigerian Journal of Social Sciences, Readings in Islamic Economics, Vol. 2 and 3, Contemporary Issues in Accounting and Finance and Readings in Management Studies.

Salman Ahmed Shaikh

Salman Ahmed Shaikh is currently working as Research Associate at Institute of Business Administration, Pakistan. He is pursuing PhD in Economics. He also teaches Economics courses at IBA in the BBA and BS Economics program. He is also working as part of a research team at IBA for a project on “Pak-Afghan Post 2014 Nato Exist Scenario” funded by United States Institute of Peace. He has more than 25 citations for his work in research literature. He is among the top 5% authors at SSRN and REPEC. Md. Mahabbat Hossain

Md. Mahabbat Hossain is working as a faculty member at Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management. He was also performing duties as a program officer of Master in Bank Management and Evening Master in Bank Management Program. Additionally, he is to work as an internal auditor and house-tutor of BIBM. He did BBA and MBA in Accounting from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He is a PhD candidate in Accounting at University of Rajshahi. By this time he gathered more than eight years teaching experience in graduation level. He has professional training on different areas like, Transition to IFRS, Training of Trainers, Empirical Research Methodology, Foundation Training Course for the Bank Officials, Communicative English, etc. He is to coordinate training courses and workshops designed for the senior and mid-level bank executives and conduct sessions in these training courses and workshops. Besides, he takes classes in the Masters in Bank Management Program offered by Dhaka School of Bank Management affiliated with Dhaka University. He also takes classes on different topics in the training institutes of different banks as guest speaker. Besides, he teaches different courses as an adjunct faculty in different universities like Sonargaon University, Southeast University, Bangladesh University of Business and Technology, Northern University Bangladesh, Prime University, International Islamic University Chittagong, etc. He is an editorial board member of ABC Journals, a member of Executive Committee, Asian Business Consortium.

Maksuda Khatun is a Lecturer at Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM). She did her BBA and MBA in Accounting and Information Systems from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has involved in coordination of different training courses and workshops organized by BIBM. Audu Bello

Audu Bello is a lecturer in the department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, Sokoto, Nigeria. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics (1st Class Honour) from UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria in 2010. Audu Bello has keen interest in teaching and research in Financial Economics and Econometrics. Before joining UsmanuDanfodiyo University as a lecturer in 2014, Audu Bello worked with United Bank for Africa (UBA Plc) as a relationship manager. Audu Bello has a publication in Maiduguri Journal of Art and Social Sciences. Audu Bello founded the Independent Research Consultant in 2012 to promote research interest among young researchers offering Economics major and other related courses in higher institutions of learning. With Independent Research Consultant, Audu Bello has successfully anchored a workshop on “How to use SPSS and Gretl for data analysis” for Statistics students of Sokoto State Polytechnic in 2012. Based on the above information, Audu Bello has both practical and theoretical experiences in deposit money bank studies.

Mika’ilu Abubakar

Mika’ilu Abubakar is currently a senior lecturer at the Department of Economics, UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto and Coordinator of the postgraduate programmes of the Department.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1998 and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees both in Economics from the UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto in 2002 and 2008 respectively. He has spent all his academic career at the UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto expect for a three year visiting appointment at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina which ended in April 2012.His Ph.D. thesis is on the efficiency of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. In addition to the subject matter of his thesis, Dr. Abubakar’s research interest include stock valuation, financial markets and institutions, and empirical macroeconomics. His work on these issues have been published in journals such as The International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities Review, The Journal of Management Studies and The Nigerian Journal of Accounting Research, Developing Country Studies, Journal of Economics and Sustainable Development, American Journal of Economics among others. He also referees for The Journal of Humanities and The Sokoto Journal of Social Sciences.Mika’ilu is a member of Nigerian Economic Society (NES) and Social Science Academy of Nigeria (SSAN).

Mika’ilu Abubakar is currently a senior lecturer at the Department of Economics, UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto and Coordinator of the postgraduate programmes of the Department.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1998 and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees both in Economics from the UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto in 2002 and 2008 respectively. In addition to the subject matter of his thesis, Dr. Abubakar’s research interest include stock valuation, financial markets and institutions, and empirical macroeconomics. His work on these issues have been published in journals such as The International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities Review, The Journal of Management Studies and The Nigerian Journal of Accounting Research, Developing Country Studies, Journal of Economics and Sustainable Development, American Journal of Economics among others. His varied career experiences span the areas of the laws of Islamic banking and finance, Islamic jurisprudence, case studies in Islamic banks and financial institutions, and critical analysis of Islamic financial products and services from Shari`ah perspectives. He has also been engaged in presenting research papers at numerous international conferences on Islamic finance in various jurisdictions. Dr Mohamed Eskandar Shah Mohd Rasid holds a PhD in Finance from University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. He also holds a Master in International Economics and Finance from University of Queensland, Australia and a Bachelor in Business Administration (Finance) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Prior to joining INCEIF, Dr Eskandar was an Assistant Professor at Department of Finance, Kulliyah of Economics and Management Sciences, IIUM. He taught Futures, Options and Risk Management and International Finance at the undergraduate level and Corporate Finance at the postgraduate level. During his doctoral studies, he worked as a part time tutor at University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent International College. Salman Ahmed Shaikh

Salman Ahmed Shaikh is currently working as Research Associate at Institute of Business Administration, Pakistan. He is pursuing PhD in Economics. He also teaches Economics courses at IBA in the BBA and BS Economics program. Audu Bello

Audu Bello is a lecturer in the department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, Sokoto, Nigeria. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics (1st Class Honour) from UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria in 2010. Audu Bello has keen interest in teaching and research in Financial Economics and Econometrics. Before joining UsmanuDanfodiyo University as a lecturer in 2014, Audu Bello worked with United Bank for Africa (UBA Plc) as a relationship manager. Audu Bello has a publication in Maiduguri Journal of Art and Social Sciences. Audu Bello founded the Independent Research Consultant in 2012 to promote research interest among young researchers offering Economics major and other related courses in higher institutions of learning. With Independent Research Consultant, Audu Bello has successfully anchored a workshop on “How to use SPSS and Gretl for data analysis” for Statistics students of Sokoto State Polytechnic in 2012. Based on the above information, Audu Bello has both practical and theoretical experiences in deposit money bank studies.

Mika’ilu Abubakar

Mika’ilu Abubakar is currently a senior lecturer at the Department of Economics, UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto and Coordinator of the postgraduate programmes of the Department.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1998 and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees both in Economics from the UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto in 2002 and 2008 respectively. He has spent all his academic career at the UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto expect for a three year visiting appointment at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina which ended in April 2012.His Ph.D. thesis is on the efficiency of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. In addition to the subject matter of his thesis, Dr. Abubakar’s research interest include stock valuation, financial markets and institutions, and empirical macroeconomics. His work on these issues have been published in journals such as The International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities Review, The Journal of Management Studies and The Nigerian Journal of Accounting Research, Developing Country Studies, Journal of Economics and Sustainable Development, American Journal of Economics among others. Khalid Hafeez

Khalid Hafeez is Professor in Operations Management at the University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Before this position he held the position of and Dean at the e-School of Business and Quality Management in Hamdan Bin Mohamed e-University, Dubai, UAE. Prior to that he was a Professor at the York Management School, the University of York, UK. Professor Hafeez also served as the Yorkshire forward knowledge transfer champion for 7 years. He was the founding Director for the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Bradford Management School UK, where he also taught on the Bradford Executive MBA program which has been frequently ranked amongst the top ten in UK. He has supervised more than 15 PhD students to completion and has written over 100 technical research articles those have attracted more than 840 citations worldwide. Professor Hafeez has also completed an Executive Education Training Programme at the Harvard Business School USA, and is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and Certified Project Manager and EFQM European Assessor Certified from Brussels. Besides, he was awarded a certificate of merit from the House of Lord UK in recognition of his services for education and community.

Dr. Abu Umar Faruq Ahmad

Dr. Abu Umar Faruq Ahmad is Senior Researcher of International Shari`ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA), and Associate Professor at INCEIF, the Global University of Islamic Finance, Malaysia. He also chairs the Shari`ah Advisory Board at Islamic Cooperative Finance Australia Ltd. and Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of Australian Muslim welfare Centre Inc. respectively. Dr. Faruq has been investing his skills, time and energy in disseminating the knowledge of Shari`ah and Shari`ah-compliant banking, finance, and insurance; Shari`ah advising in issues pertaining to Islamic financial products and services; editing and reviewing refereed journals; and developing course contents at different academic levels of a few universities. His varied career experiences span the areas of the laws of Islamic banking and finance, Islamic jurisprudence, case studies in Islamic banks and financial institutions, and critical analysis of Islamic financial products and services from Shari`ah perspectives. He has also been engaged in presenting research papers at numerous international conferences on Islamic finance in various jurisdictions. He has many books, monographs, chapters in edited books, refereed journal articles, and conference proceedings to his credit. Dr Faruq holds a PhD in Islamic Finance Law and a LLM (Hons) in Islamic Banking Law from the University of Western Sydney (Australia) with High Distinction. He also obtained Lissans (BA Hons.) in Shari`ah from the Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Md. Mahabbat Hossain

Md. Mahabbat Hossain is working as a faculty member at Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management. He was also performing duties as a program officer of Master in Bank Management and Evening Master in Bank Management Program. Additionally, he is to work as an internal auditor and house-tutor of BIBM. He did BBA and MBA in Accounting from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He is a PhD candidate in Accounting at University of Rajshahi. By this time he gathered more than eight years teaching experience in graduation level.
