Innova® E-SeriesAutomated Endoscope Reprocessors With CMS - Channel Monitoring System
An innovative approach to endoscope reprocessing
INNOVA E3 with CMSSTAND-ALONE
Water quality you can rely on.Innova utilizes a thermal disinfection process to provide high quality rinse water. DI water is heated in an isolated boiler, cooled, then released into the chamber, meeting endoscope manufacturers’ requirements.
Single use chemistry. The Innova is a complete washer-disinfector with an accurate dosing system that assures the correct chemical concentration and temperature for the washing and disinfection phases. This eliminates the need for daily testing of disinfectant potency.
Bar coding technology. Critical information, such as endoscope serial numbers or the operator's identification is scanned and recorded. This information appears on the print-out and is stored in the cycle data.
Superior ventilating system. All Innova AERs are equipped with high-efficiency venting systems which minimises staff exposure to chemical fumes.
LEAK TESTING
is performed at the beginning of every cycle.
COLD WATER RINSE
Remove debris and avoid blood coagulation.
WASH CYCLE
Fluid flows through the channels of the endoscopes and washes the exterior surface as well.
DISINFECTION STAGE
High level disinfection is achieved in 6 minutes only.

WARM RINSE
with deionized water to remove the disinfectant chemical from the channels and on the surface.
THE COOLING CYCLE
takes only a few minutes.
WARM AIR DRYING CYCLE
ensures that the channels are free of moisture and the endoscopes are ready for immediate use or for overnight storage.

CMS – Channel Monitoring SystemThe INNOVA CMS – Channel Monitoring System is an individual channel check option available for the INNOVA E3, E4 and E5. The system checks all channels of an endoscope for any restrictions. Obstructions or any other causes which narrow a channel will be detected and the operator will be warned in time.
The CMS is a modular system allowing to monitor up to six channels per endoscope.
The INNOVA CMS offers the highest quality and validatable process security, and improve: operators and patients safety
handling for the reprocessing staff
cost savings for the institution
the quality and life time of the endoscope in comparison to conventional methods of reprocessing.
When an endoscope is first used, the “scope setup” cycle is run. This characterises the baseline flow for this particular endoscope.
Every time this endoscope is processed thereafter, the CMS compares the pressure readings in each channel to those in the baseline.
The pressures are carefully controlled and the measurements are recorded in the database. If a channel is blocked or if an adapter is loose or disconnected, the location of the problem is specified.

The Innova E3 is designed for use in clinics and hospitals. It has a capacity for two endoscopes, has a 36-minute cycle time and can be installed under a counter or free-standing. An optional base is available, providing an ergonomic working height for the load carrier and space for the chemical bottles. The Innova E3's bar code scanner easily records scope serial numbers as well as, staff identification. This information, together with cycle data is recorded on the server.
Compact, extremely reliable and cost-effective, the E3 is the optimal solution to answer your endoscope reprocessing requirements.

The Innova E4 is designed for use in Central Sterile Services Departments. It has two doors, one on the “clean” side and one on the “dirty” side.
Endoscopes are loaded on the dirty side, where the control panel is installed and removed on the clean side, where the printer1 is located. The Innova E4’s software ensures that the user cannot open both doors at the same time.
The Innova E4 accepts two flexible, immersible endoscopes, and completes a cycle in about 37 minutes. Extended chemical suction hoses allow the chemical supply bottles (enzymatic detergent and high-level disinfectant) to be located at a distance from the machine.

While the Innova E4 with hinged doors is designed for smaller capacities, the Innova E5 with sliding doors is ideal for volumes of up to four endoscopes. When placed in a line, the pass-through models form a perfect, individual clean room concept.
The transport trolley is the ideal supplement to Innova E5 units. The trolley aids loading and unloading and also ensures safe and comfortable transportation of the reprocessed items.
The Innova E5 offers unique, unparalleled flexibility. For hospitals expecting future procedural growth, the E5 can initially be installed in the two scope configuration and expanded to four scope configuration when required.

The Hygiene Management System (HMS) module independently documents the automated cleaning and disinfection process, and correlates this information to the barcode of each specific endoscope. All essential process data are stored on the hospital network. This includes the details of the pressure measurements from each endoscope channel.
NetworkWhen multiple Innova machines are networked, endoscope calibration data is centralized on the server and available to all machines. A single report can be generated to show an endoscope’s reprocessing history, regardless of the machines in which it has been processed.
