DESCRIPTION STANDARD FEATURESThe automatic switch 5000 are designed to supply an Seriesuninterrupted flow of industrial gases. Typical applicationsare shielding gases for welding and high pressure cuttingassist gases for high definition cutting lasers.The system automatically changes from the supply bank toa reserve bank without an interruption in gas supply. Asimple rotation of the primary bank handle resets the unit.Optional remote alarmInternal pressure switches, low bank pressure lights and abuzzer with a silence button, indicates low bank pressureand the need to change the depleted cylinders.

APPLICATION WARNING PURE CARBON DIOXIDE OR4500 PSIG CARBON DIOXIDE IN ARGON MIXTURES

Depending upon withdrawal rates and ambiant temperature, end users may experience dry ice build-up problems in the regulators or in their pipeline downstream of themanifold when 4500 psi carbon dioxide in argon mixtures are being used (generally used as a shielding gas in welding applications). The dry icepure carbon dioxide or gbuild-ups may cause sudden pressure drops or damage the manifold or any equipment downstream of the system. GCE declines any responsibilities regarding equipmentdamage. The use of a high pressure trim-heater required (consult GCE for details). GCE uses special seat materials for 500 psig carbon dioxide in argonelectric is 4mixtures.

ABOUT LIQUID CYLINDER VAPORIZINGCAPACITY

Standard liquid cylinders are capable of vaporizingaround 9 m³ (around 320 scf) of liquid per hour. To

avoid injuries and equipment damages, please verifyyour flow requirements. Additionnal liquid cylindersor the installation of an external ambiant vaporizer
