1. Automatic thinking is unconsious and efortless thoughts. . It is unconsious
and efortless because when we a situation that we have experienced is
encountered, there is absence o analysis. Controlled thinking is diferent rom
automatic thinking in terms that controlled thinking is consciou, and efortul.
In a way, controlled thinking is used when an unexpereinced situation is
encountered the rst time and ater getting used to the situation, automaticthinking takes over.
!ome o my daily examples or Automatic thinking is my daily morning routing o
waking up and drinking a bottle o water . bathing and praying . It is very automatic
. Another example is me driving to work to and rom back home, it is an automatic
process . Another excellent example is me doing my work using the keybord and
laptop it is automatic on what i need to type and the spelling o the words.
!ome examples o consious thinking is me deciding what i should be wearing to
work and what to eat . "y daily group breing and stufs i need to do all alls underconsious thinking .
#. how day$to$day decisions can afect my uture.here are two examples , our day t
day decisions afect our uture as a cause and efect condition . where i a wrong
decision is made then the uture will be in a bleak condition and vice cersa. %ne
example is when i was young my parents would tell me to study but i would reuse
to study which caused me to have di&culty in my studies and caused me to drop
out at a young age and work tirelessly , i i had decided to study i would have not
gone thru the hell o a ride to makes ends meet. Another example o wrongdecision afecting my uture is my wie , when i was dating her my parents and the
elders in the house were against it , i got married to her despite the ob'ections.
(ow she is the awesomest wie ever , i am happily married and am coming up in lie
with her support . now all this is because o my decisions afecting my uture .
). *eneralisations, assumptions made about a whole group o people based on
samples that are inade+uate . example in my lie , all sales people are evil . i may
want to increase your sample sie or draw a more modest conclusion by using the
word -some -. !ome sales o people are evil.
ersonalisations is inappropriately inseting personalities into an argument. Commonin political arguments . example in my lie is , Against a person / he is a *ay hence
he is not a good person . way to avoid the personaliation/ look at his merits
supporting data o an argument, not on his personality or sexuality .
0veryone oes It/ 'ustiying an issue based on only the number o people involved.
0veryone is going to the gym , so I must enroll mysel in a gym . the popular
position may not be the right thing or me.
