Congratulations to ISA on their
75th Anniversary from the ISA
Sarnia Section
Message from the Reference Guide CommitteeThis is the 22nd edition of the ISA Sarnia Section’s Reference Guide to the Measurement & Control Market.
Our committee in conjunction with Grafiks Marketing and Communications continues to strive to meet the goal of producing a first class reference resource for the Sarnia Section and potential members and vendors that deal in and with the Automation and Instrumentation fields. Our goal is to produce a high quality and industry useful resource.
We wish to thank the advertisers for their continual support and we hope to continue to work with you to provide added value to our reference guide. Please visit our website site www.isasarnia.com to view our advertiser listings as well as the brand name to supplier and product category to supplier cross references. With the ability to browse and link to the required information this is a useful tool that complements the printed version.
We are always looking for more technical information and articles to provide your clients with added value. As well we continue to ask for feedback. Let us know if you have any concerns, comments, suggestions, and prospective new sponsors. Again, we wish to thank all of our advertisers for without you we would have no publication.
We encourage new member participation in our committee and with the small time commitments required there is a large reward and very high satisfaction level achieved.
Enjoy your new 2020 Reference Guide to the Measurement and Control Market.
Thanks and good reading
ISA Sarnia Section Reference Guide Committee.

Welcome to the 22nd edition of ISA Sarnia Section Reference Guide to the Measurement and Control Market. Over the years the Reference Guide has become one of the premier purchasing references for automation professionals. This handy reference tool, compiles the most relevant listings of manufacturers, service
companies, and manufacturers’ representatives from across Ontario. It puts extensive information about manufacturers and service companies at your fingertips when you need it.
This reference guide is published in paper and can also be accessed on-line by visiting www.isasarnia.com website. Apart from being a purchasing reference, this guide also features valuable technical information and conversion tables. Each year the Reference Guide continues to enhance in terms of content and ease of use.
This is the 75th ISA Society Anniversary year and the 73rd anniversary year for the Sarnia Section and it is my distinct honor to serve as the President of such an esteemed organization. For all these years, the Sarnia Section of the International Society of Automation has been giving automation professionals from across South Western Ontario the opportunity to come together while having premium access to technical knowledge and career development. The automation professionals who become ISA members and take advantage of these opportunities become valuable assets to their employer and achieve higher career growth.
Like other professions, the automation profession in North America will also be affected by wholesale entry of people from developing countries. The scenario where Canada, US and other industrialized nations were leading in knowledge-intensive industries and developing nations in lower skills and lower cost labor have changed. This will bring new challenges and at the same time amazing opportunities to the local
automation professionals. Even though the days of tough competition are coming, knowledge and innovation will become a true source of value.
I encourage all the instrumentation, automation and system professionals to become part of and take advantage of the various opportunities provided by ISA. Please visit the ISA Society website at www.isa.org to view all that ISA has to offer. I strongly believe that the techniques you will learn will help you develop more skills, agility and long term relevance to and for your employer.
Apart from the Reference Guide, your Sarnia Section executives and officers have planned many quality programs for this year. Visit our section website at www.isasarnia.com often as the details of the programs are constantly updated.
Congratulations to the Reference Guide committee for another successful publication year. Thanks always, to all the advertisers and technical contributors for your support in this production. It goes without saying that without your assistance and support the success of this publication would not be possible.
To the user of this Reference Guide, a big thanks for making this a premier purchasing and technical Reference Guide. Enjoy yet another edition of great references and support for our advertisers. When you call or write to any of the advertisers, please mention that you have seen their advertisement in the ISA Sarnia Section Reference Guide.
Please come, join us and be part of this premier organization and have your say in the future of the automation profession. I will be looking forward to speaking with many of you in person at our various Section activities throughout the year.
Regards,
Mike Murray ISA Sarnia Section President
