Our systems integration experience ensures we provide you with a partnered approach to automation projects. Our materials handling and vacuum conveying experience is often part of automated batching and blending applications in all ranges of products and throughput rates. David Manning - Senior EngineerDavid Manning has a truly extensive catalogue of hands-on experience in automation and manufacturing. Following Cadet Engineer instrument and electrical experience at a major industrial site in Newcastle, David joined the fledgling packaging machinery manufacturer Bud-Pak as a Control Engineer. Working at Bud-Pak allowed David to develop his electrical design, machine control PLC programming and project skills, with over 28 years involvement working on national and international packaging projects. David was General Manager of Bud-Pak for six years. During that time Bud-Pak is recognised as being at the forefront of robotic palletising technology.Before joining us David operated his own company providing consulting, software and electrical control manufacturing services to various industries, including sub-contracting to other manufacturers.

After appointing David’s company to work with us on a few projects, we persuaded him to stay and head up our Automation Division.

SPF DianaThis project included the installation of a pre-used 30T storage tank into a brownfield situation. Work included the necessary modifications, process software modifications, design and installation of all pumps, pipe work, valves, control and measurement devices, including load cells to integrate the tank into the existing process.The design and installation of footings for the support of the tank was also included in our scope and was a good example of our association with other engineering disciplines from within the business - allowing a truly turn-key solution.
