This position is part of the collective bargaining unit and job responsibilitiesvary across the departments. Some responsibilities may include, butnot limited to, housekeeping, cleaning out and preparing rail cars for
shipment, operating forklift, and other general mill duties as assigned orrequired.
Position Requirements:• Must possess a personal dedication to working safely, includingproactive support of efforts to create a culture of safety excellence
• Must provide proof of a High School Diploma or General EquivalencyDiploma (GED)
• Must be willing and able to meet the demands of a 24/7 operation,including working a 12-hour rotating shift: Currently a “4-on 4-off” shift,consisting of two 12-hour days, followed by two 12-hour nights, then fourconsecutive days off before repeating sequence
• Must have two years’ work experience (heavy industrial preferred) orequivalent college/military experience during the last 4 years.
