Custom and Standard SolutionsWhile most l i f t manufactures recommend a 10-foot garage cei l ing for adequate clearance, i t is possible to use a garage with a lower cei l ing height. PhantomPark™ ut i l izes a basement area below the garage, or a pit constructed in the garage f loor. You dr ive the car onto the l i f t , which is then lowered into the subterranean space, and then you dr ive the second car into the garage-f loor- level parking space. I f you have a high enough garage cei l ing, i t is possible to retr ieve the lower vehicle without having to remove the upper vehicle.
