Avasant CEO Kevin S. Parikh Chairs Panel on Sustainable Development and

Impact Sourcing at the United Nations GS3 3S Awards

New York, NY - September 17, 2015 - On Wednesday, September 16th, Kevin S.

Parikh, CEO & Senior Partner of Avasant and Chairman of the Avasant Foundation was

invited to chair a featured panel on the eve of the United Nations 70th General Assembly

Session at the 2015 GSC 3S Awards in New York City. An event hosted by the Global

Sourcing Council, the GSC 3S Awards ceremony serves as a platform to highlight and

celebrate those at the very forefront of the social and impact sourcing movement.

Following a keynote address by Atefeh Riazi, UN Assistant Secretary-General and

Chief Information Technology Officer, Parikh led the panel discussion on the United

Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Speakers included Paul Dougall, Corporate

Vice President, Head of Corporate Development, Grupo ASSA, Daniel Lang, Senior

Vice President Worldwide Customer Relations & Head of Corporate Social
