With increasingly tight project schedules and profit margins, EPCs need to achieve consistently rapid, right-first-time project execution. Structural steelwork is a major element in all types of plant design but it can account for a disproportionate level of construction problems, rework costs and delays. AVEVA Bocad Onshore overcomes this by providing, not only an extensive range of general-purpose functions for structural steel detailing, but also a suite of functions and library objects that meet the particular needs of the onshore plant industry.

AVEVA Bocad Onshore answers the requirements of both engineering and fabrication, providing a comprehensive, end-to-end solution for steelwork design and construction. Special features increase project efficiency by saving time and increasing design quality on a wide range of onshore structure types, such as towers and process plants.

This product, in conjunction with AVEVA Bocad Steel, may be used as a stand-alone solution or with AVEVA PDMS and the brand new AVEVA E3D, enabling steelwork to be subcontracted to a specialist contractor or designed in house alongside PDMS and AVEVA E3D designers. Steelwork design is exchanged with PDMS and AVEVA E3D through a standard AVEVA Bocad interface, and may be immediately clash tested against the PDMS and AVEVA E3D layout.
