Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival

Phnom Penh was once called the Oriental Paris. Despite its rapid development, it’s retained a lot of its rustic charm and elegance. This morning is spent visiting the most iconic city’s sights such as the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and Wat Ounalom. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant.The afternoon continues to learn more about the dark side of Cambodian history. Visit Choeung Ek, the site of the infamous Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Museum, the notorious Khmer Rouge prison where thousands of Cambodians perished. Back to the city where you’ll fi nd our luck at Central Market when shopping for the unique souvenirs.

Day 2: Phnom Penh City Tour

This morning is designed for you to experience a Khmer cooking class to have a deeper insight into the local culture. First, start with a visit to a local wet market where the chef explains about different ingredients for daily meals. At the class, you’ll be shared the unique techniques to cook some delicious dishes. Sample your effort then your fellow travellers’.Afternoon fl ight to Siem Reap, a gateway into the Angkor Ruins. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to the hotel to check in. The evening is free for your independent exploration.

Day 3: Phnom Penh – Flight to Siem Reap

Spend a full day discovering the mystical Angkor temples. Your day starts with a visit to Angkor Wat, followed by the ancient Ta Prohm Monastery. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Thom (the Great City) beginning by the south gate and the famous Bayon of the 12th and 13th centuries. Then, journey to the Elephant Terrace and the raised Leper King Terrace, built in the 12th century featuring many beautifully sculptured Apsaras.Dinner tonight is served at a local restaurant with Apsara Dance.

Day 6: Siem Reap - Flight to Bangkok

Depart early this morning to catch up the best moment of visiting the world-famous Damnern Saduak Floating Market where you’ll observe the same way that the local people have traded for centuries. Then, board the train for a ride on the historic Death Railway over the Kwai River, which passes through the lush forest along the original wooden viaducts. The other inclusions are also the Allied War Cemetery and JEATH War Museum, which is a replica of prisoner of war camp and contains many photographs, artifacts and other memorabilia.Later this afternoon, transfer back to Bangkok and enjoy your dinner tonight at the hotel for the best convenience.

Day 8: Bangkok – Kanchanaburi – River Kwai – Bangkok

Today you will take a flight to Chiang Mai, in the north of Thailand. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you will meet your tour guide and then transfer to the hotel. From there, you will transfer to visit Doi Suthep which is one of the most sacred temples in Chiang Mai; known by the Thais as Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. It is located on a hilltop and is built in the Northern-Thai style, and it is said to contain the holy relics of the Lord Buddha. From here, you will also enjoy a panoramic view of the whole city. After this, we return to the hotel where you will have some free time at leisure to relax on your own. In the evening you will enjoy the famous “Khantoke Dinner”, also known as the northern Thai welcome dinner, accompanied by traditional hill tribe dancing.

Day 9: Bangkok – Flight to Chiang Mai – Chiang Mai Tour

After breakfast, you will transfer to the Mae Sai Border, one of the biggest border markets in Thailand (Thai – Myanmar border). Here you will see many products for sale such as local foods, clothes, jewellery, silverware, precious and semi-precious stones, etc. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. We continue on to the Golden Triangle where the three borders of Laos – Myanmar – Thailand meet. In the past, the Chinese used this route for delivering opium to Siam (Thailand) until they later spread the trade to many other countries as well. After this, we will visit the Hall of Opium, where you can study how opium was delivered commercially in the old days. You can find out about opium routing, history, accessories, etc. Then we return to the hotel where you are free at leisure.

Day 10: Chiang Rai Golden Triangle

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then you are free at leisure until it’s time for your transfer to the airport for your flight to Phuket. Upon arrival at Phuket airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you are free at leisure. Day 12: Phuket - Phi Phi Island

This morning after breakfast, meet your private guide to begin your exploration of Bangkok by long-tail boat on the Chao Phraya River to the revered Grand Palace complex, the official residence of the kings of Siam — and later, Thailand. Visit the Emerald Buddha Temple, regarded as the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand. It contains an image of Buddha flawlessly carved from a single block of jade. Continue to Wat Po, one of Bangkok’s oldest and largest temples, located next to the Grand Palace. The temple houses the gigantic, gold-plated Reclining Buddha and is the headquarters of the Traditional Medicine Practitioners of Bangkok. At lunch, enjoy a special Thai cooking demonstration. This evening, gather with fellow guests for a cocktail and welcome dinner.
