Once a upon a there was a little Asian guy named Tony; who loved to be on the computer and play video games all day. He played all sorts of games on different sites; along with knowing variety of programs and software for his computer. In this case a typical modern Asian. Many parents believe this is a useless waste of time and talent. However, on the other side to a teenager, being technological advance is such a helpful talent now a days.

Until his mom continuously nagged at him, if he had chosen his career in life. It never accord to him that video games or being on the computer on the time was a career choice in life. He never put any thought into it at all. Until he had to one day for a class project that was 50% of his grade. He took it seriously because he thought it could help him finally choose. It took him one whole month of constant thinking and sorting of talents and enjoyments.

Thinking over and over and narrowing down what’s his talents and likes; while looking on the web. Then finally there, he found so many careers of his fields of interests. He thought to himself “ wow, there really is careers for nerds like me in this world.” And so his end result was to be a Website Designer.

Tony researched so much into being a website designer farther then what his project needed. Being a website designer may looked fun but it needs a lot of experience and hard work to become one. He had to researched the pros and cons of what this job entails like:

Pros: what he is interested in (art, gaming, and programming)

Starting wage for year is $50,000 w/ tax This job is highly needed in the work force (stable) Allows to work with the time you have (time manageable)

Cons:working50 + hours a week (time consuming) Needs a BA in Arts or Masters = A lot of school Schools are mostly institutes or technical schools Doing a lot of projects for clients at one time

This is what he came up with when describing his future career. A specializes in designing art, forums, and other categories for a website. Before they were introduced into the job and business world; until the internet came known to the world. Major production companies and other businesses are in need for these specialists for marketing their products. This career is a new type of graphic designer and typesetter; using majority of the World Wide Web and the computer. They are required to have numerous computer skills like: HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), ADOBE Dreamweaver, and Illustrator; along with other programs and technical art skills.

He was so dedicated to his career that he switched his electives from medical to graphic design and multimedia design. There his teachers explained more and more about the career that he wanted and the training that he needed for that field. His majors that lead to that field were:
