• Every week we learn of charges being laid for fraud, from local to global communities.

• Seniors’ savings are stolen: $10,000 or $50,000 and even $3Million and up. One fraudster will usually hit dozens or hundreds of victims.

• Infamous Madoff made off with $50Billion. Smiles, suits, shining referrals and handshakes are no certain guarantee of honesty.

• Type “list of con artists” at www.Wikipedia.com and prepare to be surprised. Related entry on “fraud” is so active the editors are continually updating citations to match current news.

8. Is there a clean record of good standing and membership in relevant financial associations?
