Who is this qualification for? Learners who would benefit from this qualification include those needing to:

engage with learning and progress in a chosen vocational pathway;

gain generic skills that are transferrable both to the workplace and to further targeted learning;

gain knowledge and understanding of specific vocational subjects that will enable them to progress towards sustainable employment;

achieve literacy, numeracy and ICT skills which will support further progress in learning and employability;

Types of learners include:

vocational learners who are unsure of their next step and are not yet in work or on a full-time study/training programme;
